We have been guests of this property for over 24 years. However, it had been about 15 years since we had an opportunity to visit. We returned for 5 nights after Christmas and as usual were thrilled with the property & the service! Our room was updated and the view was incredible! We looked out to the Marina. I have... More

This is not a 4-star upscale hotel with fine linens and impeccable service, but a bargain diamond in the rough if you want to be on (or near) the water in an updated hotel with tasteful and spacious rooms. To begin with, I must be honest by admitting that at check-in, I was upgraded to a suite. Having prepaid for... More

Spent last week (7-14 Jan) close to many Shelter Island eating establishments but Inn is out dated, charges for wifi and parking and rooms need major remodeling. Our room had a faucet that twisted when you tried to turn on, toilet tissue roller was falling off the wall and carpet was dirty and sticky. Rooms are very dark no lighting.... More

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times. All three times were great. It's clean, modern, affordable, and private. Plus there's a beautiful view of the bay! It's literally in the middle of all the attractions in San Diego. I would recommend renting a car if you want to explore the city. The main attractions are like 10 min by car

Family reunion coming in February. Two years ago we stayed at Humphreys Half Moon Inn and enjoyed it. Nice reasonable price for rooms and a great location. Good discount rate for our group of 20 or so. We enjoy the view of San Diego Bay, Coronado Island, and the downtown skyline. Great location for the price. Close to North Harbor... More

By far the worst hotel I have stayed in a very long time. The entire facility is in desperate need of a tear down and rebuild from scratch. Even the refurbished rooms are horrible. Rock hard beds, bathroom sink sewer smell from pee trap, rock hard sofa, air conditioner broke (got repair thou), walls paper thin so you hear everything,... More

The location is outstanding plenty of things to do right side the hotel. View of downtown is great. Hotel it self is dated and not on par with the view or location. The bed is one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on in a hotel. I travel 75 nights a year in hotels. This was the... More

I cannot believe that rooms go up to 300 $ in summer. Our room was small, dark, carpet a bit dirty. The furniture looked a bit tired (scratches, threads pulled out of the upholstery). The carpet could have used some extra vacuuming. A few ants were marching on my bed. The walls are thin as a board, I could hear... More

A beautiful location and am disappointed that we were not able to stay longer. The room was modern and just the right size. The grounds of the hotel are also very nice. The staff were very helpful and would definately stay again.

We stayed here in late November. The rooms were pretty nice and unexpected. I will upload photos. We had the bottom floor with two beds. We had a door go out into their beautiful walkway. It had a couple ponds and gorgeous plants and trees. The pool looked really nice but it was too cold for us to enjoy it.... More
