Booked via Priceline and ended up here. I would concur with other posts, which indicated that this place is ok, if you get a deal...well below rack rate. The rooms were pleasant, but I would have been seriously disappointed had I booked at full price and expected a luxury resort/spa experience. Our room/bungalow had been updated, but still felt dated.... More

We stayed here for a week in 2004 and really enjoyed it so when booking our holiday for this year we thought we'd come back (we also spent a week up in Anaheim). After reading some of the reviews on here we were a bit worried that we had made a mistake, but we've stayed at places which have received... More

I went to Paradise Point to relax and get away from Chicago. I am an adult over 50 yrs old and came alone. I wanted a quiet place, where I could walk safely and enjoy to view of the bay or the beautiful landscaping. If I had been looking for night time entertainment I would have been disappointed, but I... More

We lucked out and "San Diego Concierge" (in the San Diego yellow pages) found us a room here for $139 a night. It was a great hotel and the pools were really nice, but I felt things were way overpriced here. The restaurants were out of our budget and the market charged $6 for a 6 pack of Diet Coke.... More

Insufficient housekeeping staff to have overpriced rooms ready for the 4pm check in. As a front desk employee put it "check in just "starts" at 4 pm (long line)..that doesn't mean the rooms are ready. There were several crowded pool facilities, but since we had no room card key, we had to just wait around until almost five o'clock. A... More

we stayed for 5 nights and had a lovely garden room, quite near the ocean and pools, in orchid area.. we had a great stay and would recommend the hotel, but the service was frustrating at times, in that it could be excellent but it could also be realoly awful. This applied to the barefoot grill and the room and... More

Spent two expensive nights at the resort in April 2007 as part of a family trip. I cannot find a single good thing to say about it but many many many terrible ones. Where to start? First the money. This is a very expensive resort $300+ and upon checking in we are told that there is a $20 per day... More

The landscape is beautiful but since the bungalows look the same, it's hard to navigate during evening hours. You may get lost so don't hesitate to ask the great workers driving around all day and night for directions or even a ride. The staff/conceirge are nice but terribly slow!!! At one point, I was ready to jump behind the desk and... More

All I can say is avoid this hotel unless you booked through Priceline and you are stuck with it as we were. Only good thing I can say about this place is the price we paid which was about the same as a motel nearby. The rooms are small for a "resort". We saw ceiling light fixtures falling off, light... A simple message to any young couples who are recomended this hotel as place to stay by a tour company. Dont go. This is a strictly family orientated hotel more like a Butlins to any UK/Irish readers. The only bar in the place is the barefoot grill which closes at 22:30 and is still full of children until this time.... More
