Stayed here in February and San Diego in February is better than any day back in the Midwest! We arrived early (like 10am early) and the hotel was able to get us in a room right away which was awesome because we were ready for a nap. The room has been recently updated with a lot of special details. The... More

I would like to say that I enjoyed my stay at Paradise Point Resort & Spa but the accommodations really need to be updated at this price point or the rates need to be cut by at least half. The grounds are beautiful and the bungalows give a hint of a tropical paradise but the fact of the matter is,... More

Stayed there recently on business. The employees are excellent and make the stay enjoyable. The views for the most part are pretty scenic. I thought the food in the restaurant was good. The room was old looking and the bed was way too hard. You really needed a car to access other areas of San Diego.

I would and will recommend this place to everyone. If your a man this place will get you some serious browny points from your woman. Well worth the drive. The cabanas are very private and have a tropical feel to them.

An organization I'm affiliated with is based in SD and has held its annual meeting at Paradise Point (PP) for the last three years. The first year, there were some issues, but they have been mostly resolved in the last two iterations. It's a bit isolated (which is good or bad depending on your outlook), but the facilities are nice,... More

My company was here on business. I had no choice in the stay. The website makes it seem to be an amazing tropical paradise and I was so excited for the trip. Our room came with about 1000 ants parading through. It was quite humorous. The grounds could use a lot of updating. The beach area was disgusting, covered in... More

Amanda, we appreciate your candid TripAdvisor review but are saddened to hear about your overall impression of the resort. It sounds like our tropical retreat did not live up to your expectations despite the exceptional customer service you received. We sincerely apologize for the issues with your guestroom and outdoor areas. Our lush island setting does make the property more... More

Booked a one night couple stay for a quick weekend getaway. Everything was lovely and the staff were great. We had room 219, awesome room with bay view. The room was convenient walk outside to the sand and water. Our room were clean and well kept. I was worry after reading all the negative reviews but everything worked out great.... More

We had an amazing time. The room was very clean and spacious and best of all, steps away from the sand with a view of the bay. The service at barefoot bar wasn't the best, but the food and cocktails were great. The food and service at Tidal was fabulous and the atmosphere was very cozy and relaxed. We will... More

Superb service, location, value, grounds... I can't wait to go back. Tidal had one of the best breakfasts in San Diego hands down. The view from room was awesome. Right on the bay, it was as if we had our own private beach. We moved the chairs down at sunset and just relaxed.

Had a great time, beautiful place and such and eye catcher. Every where you look there is beauty. Great restaurants and spa. Staff was great to work with no one complained and shuttles back to our room was a hit.
