My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to come back. When we checked in the front desk staff was very warm and welcoming and even had our information saved from last time, making the check-in process a breeze. When we arrived to our junior suite room we... More

The grounds very tropical. Several family pool to relax in, only 1 of which has food and bar service. Several restaurants. We ate at Tidal, high end fancy fare, but expensive. Truly not worth the money...we've had better $50.00 steaks & mashed potatoes. Clams were pretty good. Also ate at Barefoot Grill, very good burgers & friendly staff. We rented... More

PPRS is a unique property, originally called Vacation Village back in the 1960s. It has always been a high-end property, offering many activities on its own peninsula into Mission Bay. Sadly, it hasn't kept up. If the rates were not premium, and there weren't so many pricy add-ons to the bill, I'd still recommend it for families -- like the... More

The hotel didn't give us the value for money. Far from that. Very expensive but not clean, with amenities missing. No kettle available on the whole premise. Bathroom was aweful and dirty. Not sure if we are willing to pay $300/night for this type of accomodation. On top of that, they charge you $35/night for parking only and another $27... More

As a family, I have been to this hotel since the 80's. So it was an obvious choice for a wedding venue trying to re-create those great memories of this place. Parking was ridiculous 35 dollars a day?!?! Dirty water bottles in our room on arrival and it was the only offering, broken mini fridge and broken ac. Got water... More

Paradise Point was a very nice place to stay. They have enough to do to make you feel like you don't need to leave the resort for anything. Be prepared for a lot of walking everything is spread out on there own little island. I would recommend this resort for families or couples seeking romance, it works for everyone.

As one of the tens of thousands who flock to San Diego from Arizona a few times every summer to escape the brutal heat we have encountered some good and some not so good places to stay. We have had get aways in Carlsbad, Del Mar, Coronado and San Diego - among others. But over the last four years we... More

We really enjoyed the grounds and location of Paradise Point. SUPER HUGE PLUS was that we flew in from Texas early Saturday morning and arrived at Paradise Point at 10am and they were able to check us in early!! Talk about excellent customer service to be so accommodating!! The room was nice, but our bathroom was old. It had been... More

The bungalow had a nice bedroom but the pull out couch must have been 30 years old. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Absolutely nothing in the kitchenette for silverware, glasses, or plates. Everything needed to be rented- umbrella, beach chairs etc. Found a clear razor head left in the shower from a previous occupant in the another Lanai room my... More
