Overpriced and dated. Checked in and found out there was a $34 charge for parking because we made the reservation through a 3rd party (Trivago - Getaroom). Add to that another $24 resort fee for staying there. So, add another $61 per night to the room rate. Total rip-off ! "Dated" is being nice. Hotel book in the room showed... More

At first glance Paradise Point looks like a nice tropical destination. However, upon closer inspection, there are many areas in need of TLC.Overall this property still has potential but for the price you will pay, it should be much nicer.

If you read all the bad reviews, what they have in common is that the rooms are run down and dirty. When you see that many reviews with the same complaints it is usually true and in this case it was. The first room they put us in was unacceptable. It was run down and dirty. They upgraded us to... More

Perfect!!! We originally has reservations at another hotel in La Jolla, but when we arrived it was NOT at all accessible for a wheelchair. So we called Paradise Point and they had a room for us. This is the first hotel that my 30 year old son with muscular dystrophy could actually take a shower. We totally enjoyed our 5... More

This was the last stop on our 3 week US roadtrip. The plan was to spend our last 4 days in an amazing 4* paradise resort to chillout before our long trip back to the UK. What a disappointment! Out of the many along the way, this was the most expensive and the worst resort we stayed at, and I... More

Everything was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ignore the miserable people who leave miserable reviews. They do this for one reason: They ARE miserable. Their life is miserable, and all they can do is whine and complain about the misery they bring along with them and to (gasp) all of the other happy people in the world!

Our family had a great time here. Front desk staff, heather in particular, was extremely accommodating. Beautiful view from bayside bungalows. Food was good, especially Tidal which is top notch. Looking forward to staying here again soon!
