Great resort on an island in Mission Bay - minutes to San Diego!!! The rooms are a bit outdated - but whose there to stay in their room. The grounds are exquisite and the walk around Mission Bat (5 or 10 miles) breathtaking!!! The 5 pools are immaculate and not crowded during the week. The fish tacos at the pool... More

My wife and I visited in April 2014 as the last stop on our honeymoon, my wife had been persuaded by the amazing pictures on the website. The reality was nothing like the pictures, quite possibly the worst stay and biggest disappointment I have had at a hotel. On arrival we were told the room wasn't available but it would... More

There is not much positive that I can say about this resort. The staff are well trained to take the negative comments, that is the only positive. We wanted a beach front bungalow suite (600/ night) the website showed an awesome room with beautiful views, however it was not reality. - the bungalow next to us, daily had trash outside... More

I loved this resort and really enjoyed my stay. You feel miles away from everywhere, but you are only a few minutes to old town or downtown. Peaceful and relaxing, but plenty to do for those who want more activity. Rooms are huge, it felt more like an apartment. Parking is right by your door.

I am checking out of Paradise Point today after attending a 3 day Healthcare conference. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated. Yes there are a few small gnats in my room. With the amount of foliage around, if there weren't a few bugs I would be worried about the pesticides that were being used. The rooms are meticulously cleaned... More

The resort was beautiful and the staff was fantastic. It was close to Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and Mission Beach. The restaurants had wonderful food and the view from the bar was amazing. We will definitely go back.

Not worth the price, the service is zero, rooms are not clean (I had to clean myself the shelves to put my clothes!), the iron throw black dust on my shirts, it's TERRIBLY noisy, the pools stink, and the beaches are impracticable (wouldn't bath in this water). Go elsewhere.

I stayed at Paradise Point for 4 nights for a business conference. Pros: The location is beautiful. (Nice break from the east coast winter!) The conference facilities are very nice. The food and service at Tidal Restaurant is phenomenal (but expensive). The front desk staff were attentive and accommodating. Cons: The rooms are "bungalows"with a fresh coat of paint but... More

Everything was great! Easy, quick check-in, beautiful rooms, relaxing environment...really loved the fact that we had our own private patio are. We were able to BBQ and relax while enjoying the beautiful garden view. Beautiful resort! Will definitely be back!

The resort itself is lovely with good facilities and services. The food is good. We enjoyed our stay but for a fault it seems apparent in most rooms according to reception desk. We stayed in room 246, checked out on St Patrick's day. The floors were recently sealed and you cannot walk in your rooms barefoot (coming out of the... More
