I always prefer to stay at Hilton family of hotels being a platinum hhonors member and I was not dissapointed. Room was compact but furnished very contemporarily. The balcony with the bay view in the tower was awesome too esp during sunsets. Service was ok but I have stayed at better hilton properties in orlando. I had requested for a... More

Unfortunately, from February 1, 2007 to July 4, 2007 we had to house our fitness center in a temporary location near the pool while the new spa & fitness center were renovated. Essence - The Spa on Mission Bay opened on July 4, 2007 and also houses our brand new state of the art fitness center which is now complimentary... More

I booked my room on the same day of my arrival through Priceline. $80 was definitely a bargain and overall my experience was positive. Checkin: I arrived at about 10:30 in the evening on a Sunday night. I was initially very impressed. There was a live band playing in the background, and it definitely added to the resort feel. Checkin... More

Although it is a beautiful hotel on a nice property, the service was somewhat bad. When asked where to go dine, the conceige flopped 2 huge books in front of me with a grumble and nothing more. Unlike other hiltons we have stayed in, this one makes you pay for everything, and pay alot. A cheeseburger for lunch was over... More

My husband and I decided to take a last minute one night "honeymoon". We wanted to stay in the MissionBay area and so I used Priceline for the first time and won the Hilton MissionBay Resort for $80+tax and $20parking. I felt like I had won a bet at roulette!!! We were checked into our room by 1PM even though... More

The exteriors of the buildings are showing their age. Tile throughout the grounds are dirty and cracked, the floor mats in front of room doors are often dirty and glasses from room service (not ours) were not picked up in front of our room for 3 days. The room we stayed in was quite large with two queen beds. Apparently... More

I booked a room through priceline. I named my own price at $129 for the night. I was coming down to stay for one night after seeing John Mayer in concert at Coors. I booked a king size bed, when I checked in I received 2 doubles. My room was also on the ground floor. Not a big deal since... More

This place was just fine. The grounds are clean, and it's a typical hilton experience. Many of the ground floor rooms have firepits which is nice. It's on the bay and has a nice boat dock, along with all sorts of rentals. The in room coffee is pretty decent. "TC" at the front desk was very attentive and helpful. I... More

After reading all the negative reviews on this board I was really scared to see what the place was like when my girlfriend and I showed up Memorial Day weekend. The funny thing was, I don't know if it was my diminished expectations from the reviews, or the fact that I think people like to complain too much and we... More

I really liked this hotel. Paid $80 on Priceline. I had one of rooms in the villa (not the tower), and it was great. It must have been recently renovated with contempary designs. The beds were amazing and the bathroom was nice. There was even a little patio with two lounge chairs outside the room. $20 for parking really sucks,... More

We had a terrible drive to San Diego (hail along the way, zero visibility through a mountain pass, antilock brakes kicking in all of the way going downhill out of the pass). I mentioned how glad we were to be at the hotel to the clerk and how horrible a drive we'd had. I didn't expect much of a room... More
