The rooms here are actually nice and clean. The location in Mission Bay, however, is not great it was loud and not really that close to anything we like to do. If you want to go to sea world it is ok. To be sure, I can't stand the Mission Bay area of San Diego and will never stay around... more

I generally liked the hotel but found it difficult to get around. The staff was great and the rooms were good. All in all a good place to stay. more

We got a good price for a garden room villa ($129)and got a $25.00 daily credit from zootravel.com. Since we are Hilton Honors members, we even got complimentary breakfast vouchers at the restaurant there. Breakfast at the restaurant was much better than the dinner. I don't mind paying money for a good dinner, but neither my husband nor I were... more

Liked: spacious, clean room and the location. Disliked: "upgraded" room with fire pits directly below. Imagine yourself getting ready to go out to dinner...your hair is done...your dress on and what's that smell? Oh, yes! You get to smell like a campfire the entire night! You can't enjoy the cool, crisp air because no one bothered to let you know... more

We stayed here about 4 years ago and it was not good! But with the renovations the hotel seems 1000 times better we had a room that was amazing and just had a great time and we will be back! It was a great Fathers Day weekend! more

After reading some of the reviews, I was nervous about our "Hotwire" find. Turns out this hotel is fantastic. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean, the rooms VERY comfortable, the amenities were awesome. We used the spa, the fitness center, the tennis courts, the kayaks, the pool, the restaurant and found all outstanding. We came away after... more

We comparison-stopped at a series of Hiltons while driving from N. CA to Houston, TX. This hotel reads better in the brochure than it actually appears. The guest rooms( on higher floor with balcony) are furnished in heavy, dark decor--this struck me wrong; i was expecting airy and light or bright. The bathroom was extremely small, perhaps the smallest Hilton... more

My husband and I stayed here on a "reward stay" for our anniversary. We had a beautiful room with a large patio and fire pit. I would have liked the firewood to have been included, instead we had to buy it at the grocery store. I LOVED the spa treatments I had. If you're wanting a special treatment, I highly... more

On arrival, hotel is very scattered and you are charged $22 a night for parking. Staff are quite rude and we found this all through-out our 3 night stay. We were disappointed to find that many rooms are "villa types" with the front door and patio doors being outside directly into public areas. Very poor security - pool only gated... more

Booked on Priceline & was excited to stay at this "4-Star Resort". Although the grounds were beautiful the hotel itself looked old & worn (even after a multi-million $$ renovation). Parking was $22, staff was rude, not convenient to San Diego attractions. Even after paying 1/2 price through priceline we were disappointed...would never stay here again. more
