We got a great deal on Hotwire and had to pay an additional $60 in fees per night. They placed us on the 1st floor of the tower even though we were staying for 7 nights. Our view was of the parking lot. It also seemed to be the party floor. It felt like we were in the middle of... More

Excellent rooms, clean, luxurious and with lovely views. We liked the pool area and cocktail bar especially. The pizzas were amazing. Service was exemplary. Would highly recommend! The concierge gave great tips about driving into town.

Our 1st time to San Diego for our honey moon . The place to go to if you want to overpay for everything especially the olive bar the food is decent but , Don't buy any drinks without asking the price I paid 10$ for a shot of bottom shelf fireball We stayed on the 6th floor parking lot side... More

I've read a number of reviews on here about resort fees at this hotel being ridiculous. While we had some problems with the internet service (was not available at the pool and was fairly weak in our room), this additional cost is clearly outlined on their website and in the booking details before you book the room. So, please ensure... More

It was a pleasure to have shared this recent visit with you, and we appreciate your thoughtful feedback of the experience. A you've noted, we strive to provide our guests with a range of amenities and offerings--supported by clearly outlined pricing structures--and we're happy that you enjoyed our many offerings. We're disheartened, though, to hear of inconsistencies with our hospitality,... More

Aside from the awesome location this hotel/resort disappoints. It is way outdated. The tub was super small and poor lighting in the room. The bed was comfy though. The smell in the hallway was horrific. We stayed on the 6th floor with a bay view. The view was beautiful. The walls are thin so be prepared to hear everyone's business!... More

The hotel was decent. Not as luxurious as the pictures online make it seem. Floors were filthy, staff was not very helpful. If you book this hotel, beware that there is a $35 per night parking charge, daily taxes and fees, AND a lovely $22 per day "accommodations" charge. When I called and spoke to Josh, the manager, he told... More

It's certainly alarming to hear when the experience of our property misses the mark so significantly, and we apologize for coming up short in this instance. Our competitive resort fee affords for innumerable amenities across the resort, of which s'mores and dive-in movies are but a sampling, and we certainly hope that you were able to take advantage of some... Room was rundown and in need of refurbishing. Bathroom tile cracked. Asked for shampoo and it never arrvied. Room smelled like a closed up old musky attic. Pool area was nice. Pool water looked a tad yellow by the end of the day.

This is a resort hotel and you can not move from here without having to drive. This is pain. To be fair the hotel put on a free taxi/ mini bus to Sea World which is 15 minutes away. They also provide a free taxi to Old Town San Diego but you have to organise your own transport back. The... More

I do not want to criticize this hotel much because overall I could see why some people stay there, rooms are excellent big, modern, comfortable and clean. Staff was excellent as well. Restaurant did good food, drinks not the best (particularly Margaritas). I think the $35 night a parking fee is a bit over the top as there is so... More

I enjoyed my time at the resort. Ronald Q. Mgr was great. Moved a heavy umbrella for me because I was cold inside the restaurant, but hot outside. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed our waiter Jim.Ignacio was awesome and hard working. I enjoyed our time there and wold definitely go back. My only complaint is the parking fee.
