My room was nice -it had a walkout patio overlooking mission bay. Mission Bay is a great place for running and biking, but it is Definitely not my favorite beach. The rooms were nice in this hotel but the common areas weren't very clean. It's a short drive from all the sites in San Diego, which is a pain if you don't drive, but it is California and you have to drive everywhere anyway...
