Worked in San Diego and wanted to stay by the beach versus the sterile Marriott/Hilton properties I normally stay in. This place was right on the beach! A little dated, nothing special about the inside of the rooms, but who needs that when you have a balcony looking out to the ocean and beach. Internet wasn't reliable, it went down every now and then. TVs were small. The place was undergoing some renovation, so it is probably a little nicer now then when we stayed. I think they were putting in hardwood kitchen floors and changing out all of the doors (still had actual keys) and carpets. Be prepared to adhere to quiet hours if you stay there. They really inforce a no talking at night policy. Off-street included parking was key. more
