Traveled for family event and stayed for two nights. Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. No frills but clean, quiet and reasonably priced. Stayed here each summer in my teens (20 years ago) and the place looks and feels the same now. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing vacation in PB!

We stay at the Beach Cottage 2-3 times a year. We have always enjoyed ourselves there. It is a great location and walking distance no matter what you want to eat. The people there have always been very nice to us. I recommend this place to a lot of people.

We stayed in a second row cottage in Feb. 2015. The cottages are nice and have a great view of the ocean. The kitchen is nice to have too. The one bedroom cottage was quaint. The location is great for doing most anything in the Pacific Beach area. We love to walk the boardwalk.

We stayed in one of the cottages, directly on the beach. The bed was very comfortable, everything you needed to prepare meals was included in the kitchen along with a large refrigerator. We had our own outdoor table with umbrella to make people watching on the "boardwalk" more comfortable. All in all great place to stay and reasonable.

Just back from our annual stay at the Beach Cottages, a place which just keeps getting better. The patio has been refurbished, the Ping pong tables were out, and there are two new gas grills if you like BBQ but don't have the patience for charcoal. The wifi reception on the second floor balcony has improved considerably, though you will... More

What a great place to spend your vacation. Everyone involved with the Beach Cottages couldn't have been more helpful. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. The hotel is close to shopping and houses of worship. We can' t wait until we go back. The OB'S

Our family traveled 1000 miles to visit San Diego. We booked a room here because of the waterfront location on the beach. Booking was easy - the reservation staff was very friendly - and their webiste had great information including rates and lots of pictures. Parking was included in the price (nice benny in big city) and our unit included... More

We have stayed here a few times and I love the vibe of the hotel and area. Great front desk help and the beach is awesome. However, this time we stayed in a different wing on the 2nd floor and it was quite an experience. We ended up keeping the balcony door closed and locked overnight. We were near the... More

We had heard about The Beach Cottages many times, and have family who stayed on Crystal Pier. After researching, my husband and two teenage sons and I decided we wanted to stay on the beach, not the pier. We booked the "large 1 bedroom/1 bath" cottage, Ocean Front, for mid-June 2014, which has two Queens in the room, plus a... More

There are BBQ charcoal Grills for guests with a Ralph's across the street. The beach is just a cross the sidewalk it is an older location but well... More
