Old victorian house in central San Diego (a couple of kilometers from Gaslamp District), very well kept, clean and fascinating. The housekeepers are special and gentle, they have advised us about the best things to do in San Diego and surroundings. Although the Keating House is close to the airport, we have not been disturbed by flight noise at all.... More

Charming B&B, my sister and I were on the first floor right off the foyer. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast in the sunny dinning room. Also, enjoyed the swing on the front porch, chatting with other guests, or just watching the airplanes, so close. Very quiet neighborhood , with easy access to many restaurants and attractions. Ben and Doug were very helpful... More

Lovely spot on mansion row to spend time in San Diego. The breakfasts are great, the housekeepers share were to go and not.... I really enjoyed the bedroom off of the garden. The mattress, however, was far to soft for my tastes.

What a charming place. My husband and I loved it there. The beautiful rooms and the delicious breakfast are unforgettable. The location is great. The airplane noise can be LOUD... but...it stops at a certain time and you may be distracted by the cuteness of this place, anyway!

This place was wonderful. We stayed for three nights in July 2014. The fresh homemade bread and fresh fruit every morning were amazing. The entrees always had fresh ingredients too. Ben and Doug were great hosts and made us feel comfortable. When we first arrived (first trip to the city) Ben brought out a map and showed us neat things... More

We have been staying here for 5 or 6 years, and are always happy to return. Great hosts (Ben and Doug), great location in walking distance to all the things we like to do in San Diego, great breakfast, great company at breakfast, and many great restaurants nearby.

Keating House is a lovely property and the owners, Ben and Doug, were wonderful hosts. The house is very conveniently located in a quiet residential area within a short walking distance to area restaurants, Balboa Park and Little Italy. The home's gardens are beautiful with a nice seating area in the back yard. I stayed in the Aqua room and... More

Excellent place to stay- B&B is designed in a Victorian motif and kudos to Ben and Doug for an excellent job. The locale is very safe-as is most of San Diego and I routinely walked from the Gas Lamp District to/from Keating Inn~ 1.5 miles distant. Public transportation is excellent if you prefer the bus. There's no TV in the... More

The hosts love what they do. Breakfast is prepared on demand in the gorgeous dining room. The house is lovingly restored and has garden spots to sit and enjoy the birds and tropical foliage. I was able to walk to the zoo as well as downtown. Quiet, residential neighborhood.

The B&B is close to everything. Walk to Balboa Park and it's museums, gardens and zoo. Little Italy is very close with great restaurants. The Keating house is very quaint, the breakfast is wonderful, but, we had Quiche three days in a row. We would have appreciated something different each day (pancakes, stuffed french toast, etc.) The inn keepers Doug... More
