Elsbree House turned out to be the perfect home base for us to explore San Diego and especially Ocean Beach... Located just a block from the shore and from quirky Newport Ave, the B&B has nice, spotless rooms (no TV though!) complete with patio and a lot of rabbit-themed paintings on the wall. I really enjoyed my stay in OB at the Elsbree B&B, the breakfast was just what I wanted to start the day and room was very comfortable and clean. The location is fantastic, just a short walk up the street to the ocean and pier ! Katie and PhiI are wonderful and l'll be back !! more

The owners are wonderful people that are warm and inviting. The were very helpful in helping us explore the area and giving us tips for traveling around San Diego. The gardens were beautiful and wonderfully kept and the rooms were clean and comfortable. more

We had a wonderful stay at Elsbree House. We were celebrating my parents 60th anniversary and they had a great time. Our room was so nice and quiet and beautifully decorated. It was nice to have a little patio to sit outside. The location was great. 1/2 block from the ocean and about 10 minutes to the historic Old Town... more

What a perfect facility and location, just a block from the beach, and marvelous hospitality. And the wild parrots in June are just gorgeous. Highly recommend it. more

Lovely B&B in an ecclectic community. Room was comfortable and very well-kept, with nice extra touches like beach chairs in the closet to take for our own use. Beware the wake up call of the wild parrots that can be loud in certain parts of the house. But overall, our stay was very nice. Katie is a very friendly host... more
