traveling. Got in at 9 pm and left at 5 am. Beds were okay. Place needs a serious upgrade even for a low end motel. The desk clerk was the best part of the stay. He was most courteous and helpful. Very old and cramped bath and shower areas.

It was clean but had old furniture and a very hard old fashioned bed (not pillowtop). It was the only room available when we were passing through. It does have a pretty good location though. There is a brewpub/restaurant just a few blocks away and a Denny's nearby. OK for one night but I wouldn't stay any longer.

We pass through Topeka every year or so and the Holiday Inn West where we used to stay has changed owners and seemingly gone downhill. So, based on decent reviews we thought we'd give this place a try. Big mistake. Very beat up motel. Our room was not clean; sticky carpet by the sink area, old tub with moldy grout.... More

Spent one night here and found the staff friendly and helpful. This is an older property but clean and well maintained. Basic breakfast. Some units in the back are two story. Overall a decent stay for a good rate. Nice firm bed, clean bathroom, nice shower head.

The bathrooms and carpets were clean and maintained well. No mold in the bathroom!!!! It smelled good. Besides the smallness and the young crowd that showed up late at night and was very loud this was a good night’s sleep. The staff was very professional and was able, willing to accommodate any needs asked of them that was in their... More

We had to make an emergency trip and when I called to see if they allowed pets, I was pleasantly surprised at Missy, the lady that answered the phone of how very kind and pleasant she was. She took time with us (unlike other motels) and when we checked in, she even asked if we were hungry and what kind... More

The staff was very friendly. We received a discount as we were part of a Spirit Mind & Body Fair. The room was very comfortable and nice and warm. Since we were having freezing cold weather they had turned the heater on for us. The bed was very comfortable and we had the necessary essentials. They also had breakfast in... More

I stayed at the Econo Lodge in Topeka for many weeks while moving to the area. I was first concerned because the outside was original and hadn't been updated to look like more modern properties. Was I wrong to be concerned! The rooms have all been updated, the beds are very comfortable and the A/C units work great! I like... More

The outside looks very dated. However, the rooms were clean, freshly painted, and the rugs looked almost new. The pool needs an update, but was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good too. This hotel is good for a one or two night stay. We would stay again.

Check in process was excellent and easy as the staff was great and very accommodating. Surprisingly very large rooms excellent compared to newer hotels. Easy access to major streets made this hotel a big plus. I would definitely make this a regular for all my Topeka trips. Older style Econo Lodge but in excellent condition and you can tell has...
