I've been staying here for the past 10+ yrs. for various family occasions, but it's the perfect locale for ANY kind of travel. The staff is the BEST, caring & courteous!! The rates are fantastic! The location is perfect situated for any kind of connecting -- restaurants, shopping, highways, etc. The rooms are beautiful, stylish and very homey! The showers... more

Quick check-in. Randy at front desk was very efficient. I stopped by desk 3 times for questions, etc. and he could answer my questions while checking in other guests. I have little patience for some places staff that let you wait 5 minutes while they take care of someone, when all you need is a map, new key, change...! Nice... more

Residence Inns are usually too spendy for my casual travels, but this one was reasonable and a good stopping point on the road to Colorado (seems several other reviewers were driving the same route). The hotel is tucked away a bit from the street, so GPS it or you might need to call for directions. I wish there had been... more

We stayed overnight on a long road trip from Atlanta to Colorado. First, the comments about this being a "new property" are very misleading and should probably be removed. We have found TripAdvisor comments valuable when they are legitimate. The property would seem to be built in the 1980's from what we could tell. A positive comment is that the... more

We had not stayed in this particular hotel for several years, but wanted a 2-bedroom suite as we were taking our four granddaughters for a weekend "mini" vacation. This worked out perfectly, and with AAA discount, the room did not cost anymore than two rooms in other hotels. The desk staff was wonderful -- very friendly and efficient. We had a... more

I had stayed at this hotel just a few months ago and thought it was the nicest in the area. When I had to drive through Kansas again, I booked it without question. The front desk personnel were very nice again and the hotel seemed clean as usual. I was "upgraded" to a two-bedroom suite because of my Marriott Rewards... more

We were on the way home from CO. We decided to stay here because of the larger rooms. This is a great hotel for room size. The indoor pool was great and we were right in the middle of everything. Super walmart and dozens of places to eat. Would recommend this hotel for longer stays. more

The room was nice and clean. The hotel seems new. It's right behind Best Buy near Wanamaker -- great location, near all the shopping and restaurants on Wanamaker. It's also just across 17th street from Maggie Moo's Ice Cream. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were $99/night, which is expensive for Topeka, but the rooms are huge, and even include a... more

We stayed at the Residence Inn /Topeka, KS over long weekend. This is a new property and is in excellent shape. Staff was very professional and accomodating. The rooms are spotless and seem larger than most Residence Inns. The breakfast buffet was great-with bacon and waffles and biscuits/gravy. Good location, right off the highway and acrross from Topeka's big shopping... more
