Staying at the Senate Luxury Suites is a sort of time-warp experience. It is preternaturally quiet, although it is just a couple blocks away from the State Capitol downtown. I stay at the Senate Luxury Suites every time I bring my entire family to Kansas. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are interesting and spacious. The place could use some updating, but that is part of its charm. My kids love the breakfasts in the morning. more

Watch out!.. they may give you a conformation and then call you and tell you that they dont have a room for you.. and if you get upset about it they will tell you that they dont want you to stay there anyway!... dont feel secure in knowing that you will have a room when you get there! more
