Can't say enough about this hotel. Been raving about it since we visited earlier this month. Courteous staff, beautiful lobby, amazing room with views of Kenmore Square and Fenway Park. Walking distance to everything in Boston. Wonderful location in great area of Boston. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended for all types of visits.

the room was huge. 2 bedrooms! on the old/worn side (the paint, furnishings, etc.) and the ceiling seemed like a converted office building? a bit odd. but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly. central air conditioning system worked well. big windows, lots of light. located right by the T (metro). wifi worked ok,... The Buckminster is quirky, yes. The hallways are confusing, yes. But, oh my god! What fun the Buckminster is! One never knows how much storage will be available in a unit but what does it matter? The Buckminster is located right next to Fenway Park! And the restaurant UNO is beyond compare. I have always loved and appreciated the staff:... More

we loved this hotel. perfect for our stay. reasonable price considering location & quality. very clean & neat. staff friendly. room was small (compared to the big chain hotels) but cozy & comfy. plus we were barely in the room & we were only 2 without much baggage. our stay was quiet. tv in room with cable. they gave us... We have stayed at the Buckminster over the last two years. The hotel is definitely improving - breakfast no longer is served in a Chinese restaurant, and the common areas of the hotel are being refurbished. The two-room suites we have stayed in both times are distinctly 'tired' - old, unmatched furniture, threadbare carpets - but it is always clean,... More

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The 2 bed-room suite was a great value, very clean and had great views. It was just across the road from Fenway Park, which was the main reason for our trip to Boston, but it was also located to lots of other restaurants and taverns. The only negative thing I had was... We stayed here for a Red Sox game a few nights ago. We needed a room last minute and Josh set us up and was very informative and accommodating. We arrived and Elena greeted us warmly and even called our room to make sure that the room was to our liking. The room was IMMACULATE and was quite cozy in... More

It accomplished the goal of staying close to Fenway Park, had nice linens, was clean but that's all...The bathrooms are awful - need major renovation - hot water took 20 minutes in the shower. No coffee maker in the room and no coffee in the lobby in the early morning. Book in the room says breakfast is at 6:30, but... More

My hubby and I loved this hotel! It is defiantly the place to stay if you are going to Fenway. Please be aware that it is an older hotel so don't expect a modern updated room. We also had a fabulous view of Fenway. The bed was so comfortable! I slept like a baby! Great customer service too!
