One of the traveller's photos show a room has a full range stove but Each room no longer have a stove. I wish they still have a stove. It has a fridge, and microwave, and coffee maker. Service was wonderful. The room was clean.

Excellent 6 day holiday. The staff, always, (umm except one), helpful, very friendly and concerned for my comfort. House keeping staff to be congratulated on the exceptional and complete job done daily. The Cafe food was excellent and well presented.. All in all the Hotel Buckminster is a awesome place to spend any time in at all. I cannot say... More

We stayed just one night in this Hotel but enjoyed it thoroughly. I loved that this is was an old, historic building with so much character. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was small, but I thought it was fine. The restaurant downstairs was nice and we has a lovely dessert there. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The overnight parking... More

Not your average chain hotel. Dated, and a bit musty, but makes up for it by the friendliness of the staff and a couple of charming features, like its central location and a 10$/day food voucher for the downstairs restaurant.

The hotel ranks first for - smallest room I ever stayed in - ever, worst smell I ever encountered, creepiest elevator I ever used, the most ancient TV I ever saw. If you wanna go for a budget accommodation, go for something that doesnt have all of this. Its not good enough for its price. Would never go back again.

I stayed here for one night on business. The property is a big dated, with a small elevator and lots of twisting-turning hallways and multiple doorways. The rooms are big. I had separate living and bed rooms and two TVs. The bathroom was spare with not much inside at all. Let down. The restaurant in the hotel is interesting. On... More

We have stayed here once before but never again. Today we had to cancel our reservation (Wednesday night before Thanksgiving) because of the weather conditions. We cannot drive from Albany, NY to Boston tonight, but the hotel Asst. Mgr., Kevin, felt he had to stick with the hotel's cancellation policy of 48 hours notice. Booking.com tried to appeal to them... More

Booked to stay at the Buckminster for a birthday treat to visit Fenway Park. Picked the hotel for its value and how close it was to Fenway. On arrival staff were efficient and polite. Room was on sixth floor - bit of an interesting lift - Room was compact but suited my purposes. Small bathroom with bath and shower. Bed... More

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are wide, clean and very comfortable. Management was so kind and gave us a free upgrade on our room. Kenmore subway station is less than a block away. The only down I could point out would be the bathroom, which looked a bit abased by time.

It's the first time I stayed at this hotel and it will certainly be the last. First, I was given a room that faces a main road and after literally one minute there I had to call reception and ask to get another one. Sadly, the experience didn't improve because in the second room I had to deal with the... More
