I was taken to the Buckminster on a surprise weekend. It was a great location and a lot of fun! Many great places to eat and things to see near the hotel. Because BU is near the hotel, there's a great mix of both upscale and college priced places in the area.

Stayed here for 3 nights, had a nice cosy room with everything I needed, and modern furnishings. Lovely comfy bed. Great location next to Red Sox stadium and Commonwealth Ave/Newbury Street. 25 minute walk to Boston Common. Used the gym which was small but had new equipment and had it to myself. Staff were friendly. Would recommend.

This was our second visit to the Buckminster. We went to Fenway again. I can't say it enough, if you are going to a game you MUST stay here. It's so convenient. We went to the Bleacher Bar for dinner. Went back to the to for a bit. Went to the game and time to grab snacks. It's so close.... More

We stay here every year to attend a Red Sox game. 2-minute walk to Fenway, close to the Subway station, can easily access all of Boston. Had awesome service from "Fred". Phoned in while on the road and got our room earlier! The restaurant located in the lobby makes it easy to grab a quick breakfast and be on the... More

We enjoyed staying at the Buckminster Hotel. The staff were all friendly, as well as helpful with directions and suggestions on tours. The rooms were comfy and roomy with the attached sitting area. We enjoyed the downstairs restaurant. Not only was it convenient, but the food and staff were terrific! The subway is only few blocks away, but Fenway Park... More

Great location to Fenway and House of Blues. Large clean suite rooms with views of Fenway. Parking garage next door is convenient ($35/nt). Very affordable for Boston. I'll definitely stay here again!

Hotel is close to Fenway and transit station. We walked to downtown. Unique hotel and great value. Would stay there again so sure. All staff was friendly. We states two nights and received two $10 vouchers to restaurant (we used for breakfast which was delicious). Lots of restaurants nearby. We could have stayed for a week. No coffee maker in... More

We flew into Boston to take the ferry to Provincetown. flight was expected in at 8PM so we needed somewhere to stay overnight, as ferry left at 9AM. found the price a bit high considering the updates needed to hotel. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and it was hard to get... More

We had a great stay at Buckminster. We chose this hotel due to the short distance to Fenway Park as we were going to catch a game during our stay. The hotel is about two minutes from the stadium. Absolutely great! The hotel is old and a bit worn but that is also a big part of the charm with... More

This was a super cool hotel. It's seriously like half a block from Fenway and Kenmore station. The staff was super helpful, and our room was always very clean. And it was not too expensive. We received a voucher for $10 to use each day at the café downstairs upon checking in.
