Booked into this overnighter on the way from Europe. Room was big, roomy and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was very tasty and the hotel gave us a 10 USD deduction voucher to use in here. Reasonably priced for the location. Only minor comment, deficiency, we found was that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Stayed 1 night fri 7/17. Daughter was going to a concert at House of Blues with two friends. The venue is only a 2 minute easy walk from te hotel. Ate an early dinner at pizzaria uno which was attached to the hotel. Very convenient. We loved the room. Yes it is an old hotel, yes the furniture is old,... More

We stayed at the Buckminster as it was close proximity to Fenway ( right across the street) Check in was a breeze, desk staff nice. The rooms, beds, sufficient, & comfy. Their were quite a few places in the 2 Bedroom 'suite', that could use updates, the laminate torn off in one room where the microwave was, the bathroom threshold in... More

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a little dated, but had a lot of historic charm. We were on the 6th floor and it was very quiet. Didn't even hear much street noise. It was a short walk to the subway and there were several close restaurants that were excellent. The staff was nice... More

This hotel is all about the price and location. At about half the cost of nearby hotels during my stay, it is close to Fenway, Back Bay, and Hynes Convention Center. It is a block away from the subway. The amenities in the hotel were very basic. The room was tiny and dated, but the the bed was comfortable and... More

We were only in for one night to catch a Red Sox/Yankees game. We wanted to visit the pubs and be able to walk "home" after the game. This place was awesome. The room was huge, quiet (except for traffic noise) and clean, had a comfy king sized bed, excellent water pressure in the shower and was quaint beyond words.... More

I was somewhat nervous about book inn this hotel. It's a very old hotel and our room had 2 twin beds. Turns out our room was on the 6th floor (top), bright with sunshine and quite large. The bathroom was also big and everything was very clean! We looked out on Fenway, and I could hear the announcer muffled from... More

Only stayed one night on our way to Cabo Verde but we were impressed by the room, service and location. The staff was very helpful and patient with us. Because we were moving to Cabo Verde, we had 6 suitcases and they were very accommodating. They helped us store our suitcases while we wander around the city waiting for our... More

I have no idea what I booked on Expedia but this room was huge. 2 bedrooms and a total of 3 beds (only 2 of us travelling). Pretty clean rooms but I did choose to leave my shoes on, carpet was sketchy. Good location and friendly staff. Priced accordingly for a hotel in Boston

Only stayed for one night but we were very impressed with the hotel and decor. The hotel is only a stones throw from Fenway Park and only 2 minute walk from the T underground which will get you anywhere in Boston. We will definitely use this hotel on any future visits to Boston!
