A co-worker and I stayed her for a conference. It was a great hotel with quaint historic charm. We loved our room that looked out to Fenway Park. Breakfast voucher in the morning was great for a quick breakfast before heading to conference. The rate was great and allowed us to explore Boston with easy T access.

I booked this hotel because I needed convenient accommodations while attending a graduation ceremony at Boston U. It's a small boutique hotel with old school charm. Front dest staff was very professional and courteous. My room (#201) was very large and had wood floors. I was surprised to see a full size refrigerator with the microwave and sink. I'm a... More

I have stayed here on several trips to visit my son while he was attending Boston University. It is located very centrally, a "T" stop is just outside the door, and it doesn't take long to get anywhere within Boston. The hotel itself needs updating. It's a good value for the money, however don't expect modern. On one trip my... More

I agree with the reviewers who said it's only good to crash after Red Sox games, as it is across the street from Fenway Park. The owner of the property is clearly too cheap to invest in it. it's a shame, because the building is historic, good location, parking right next door - but does it need work... Our carpet... More

Management needs to look at training their staff better. The shift leader / front desk person / concierge was some of the worst I've ever encountered. Ari K. was incredibly rude & dismissive. I asked to speak to a manager, and she straight up said no, they weren't available. Terrible representation of their establishment.

We stayed three nights recently to attend two baseball games. I agree with the other reviewer that the entrance-way is modern and nicely kept. Our room was not ready when we arrived, but they kept our luggage and the front desk staffer gave us good directions to several nearby eateries. He was the only person who seemed to have a... More

Room were ok, we got renovated room. But other room still outdated. Wheelchair facility available. No room service but easy access to nearby restaurant. Staff were friendly, except one staff, we have unpleasant experience during processing room extension. I like its strategic location, easy access to transportation.

Upon arrival the main entrance and lobby are very well kept. Clean, upscale and aesthetically appealing. I was given a room on the 5th floor, extremely excited. I decided to take the stairs up, the first flight was nice marble stairs. Second was nice wooden stairs, but the further I went up, the less appealing it became. The 5th floor... More

This hotel is one of the better values in Boston. It is pretty old, outdated, but it is 1 block away from Fenway Park, easy access to public transportation, and is cheaper than alot of the other hotel options in Boston. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, attended to all our needs when required. The wifi is free and... More

The Boston Hotel Buckminster is old. And so are the furnishings. However, in spite of it's somewhat worn out appearance, I'm giving this hotel the three C's for convenience, comfort and cleanliness. My husband and I stayed here for one night following the Sunday afternoon Red Sox game, and it couldn't have been any more convenient. Just a quick walk... More
