Great location to Fenway and House of Blues. Large clean suite rooms with views of Fenway. Parking garage next door is convenient ($35/nt). Very affordable for Boston. I'll definitely stay here again!

Hotel is close to Fenway and transit station. We walked to downtown. Unique hotel and great value. Would stay there again so sure. All staff was friendly. We states two nights and received two $10 vouchers to restaurant (we used for breakfast which was delicious). Lots of restaurants nearby. We could have stayed for a week. No coffee maker in... More

We flew into Boston to take the ferry to Provincetown. flight was expected in at 8PM so we needed somewhere to stay overnight, as ferry left at 9AM. found the price a bit high considering the updates needed to hotel. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and it was hard to get... More

We had a great stay at Buckminster. We chose this hotel due to the short distance to Fenway Park as we were going to catch a game during our stay. The hotel is about two minutes from the stadium. Absolutely great! The hotel is old and a bit worn but that is also a big part of the charm with... More

This was a super cool hotel. It's seriously like half a block from Fenway and Kenmore station. The staff was super helpful, and our room was always very clean. And it was not too expensive. We received a voucher for $10 to use each day at the café downstairs upon checking in.

Can't say enough about this hotel. Been raving about it since we visited earlier this month. Courteous staff, beautiful lobby, amazing room with views of Kenmore Square and Fenway Park. Walking distance to everything in Boston. Wonderful location in great area of Boston. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended for all types of visits.

the room was huge. 2 bedrooms! on the old/worn side (the paint, furnishings, etc.) and the ceiling seemed like a converted office building? a bit odd. but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly. central air conditioning system worked well. big windows, lots of light. located right by the T (metro). wifi worked ok,... The Buckminster is quirky, yes. The hallways are confusing, yes. But, oh my god! What fun the Buckminster is! One never knows how much storage will be available in a unit but what does it matter? The Buckminster is located right next to Fenway Park! And the restaurant UNO is beyond compare. I have always loved and appreciated the staff:... More

We have stayed at the Buckminster over the last two years. The hotel is definitely improving - breakfast no longer is served in a Chinese restaurant, and the common areas of the hotel are being refurbished. The two-room suites we have stayed in both times are distinctly 'tired' - old, unmatched furniture, threadbare carpets - but it is always clean,... More
