Stayed one night, decent price $100 for a room, the staff was very professional and friendly. The room was a little below average the room smelled bad. The elevator is tiny and slow. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Great location plenty of food and bars near by.

This is a convenient hotel with reasonable prices for its location near Fenway Park, Boston University, and the Kenmore T Station (on Green Line). But it is older, and a bit run down. We had problems with both the hot water and the heat (thermostat). It was very cold in Boston for the four days that we were there, and... More

I stayed for 5 nights here and found my room (511) to be clean, spacious and cosy. Whilst the tv was rather old, it worked well and to be honest I didn't travel 4000 miles to watch tv anyway! The room had a refrigerator and microwave which were a useful addition but tea and coffee facilities would have been nice.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 children. The first room was very noisy with a strange banging noise but they moved us to another room with no problem. The hotel is old and needs a little updating but the rooms are lovely and spacious and it has lots of character. The car park cost 35 dollars a... More

We stayed with family thus enjoyed the size of the room also the seperate living room made it cozy.We like the location(across from Fenway Park) and the view of the city from the room. Also the ammenities are nice such as the coffee maker. We enjoyed the free breakfast the next morning i wish that was still included with the... More

Loved the Buckminster! Great location for a game and the train station is right across the street! Lots of place within walking distance to eat and hang out! Will definitely stay here again! Great price for our family!

I just stayed 1 night for NYE and wanted a close place to sleep to nearby attractions. This hotel did the job fine. Good value and nice historic building. Twin room was definitely very small and would not want to be in that room for too many nights. Overall find for the price and very close to the train station... More

The hotel itself was very dated in my opinion the money I was paying, the location, etc. The room I stayed in had old tube tvs, dated decor, stains on the floor and coffee table, and the couch was very uncomfortable. It just wasn't a decent stay. THEN the morning I was leaving, after sleeping in a bed for TWO... More

This hotel does not have anything to offer to make your stay a pleasant one. The room and bathroom was very small. Not enough storage space if you are in transit are carrying couple of suitcases with you. Corridors are very narrow and does not smell very nice. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is very... More

Just spent three nights at the Buckminster using a Groupon. I know Boston well, wanted a great location and couldn't believe the low price. The rooms are old fashioned but absolutely spotlessly clean, and the mattresses and linens were very good. The staff was great, we couldn't have been more pleased. Be warned that the furniture was a bit tired,... More
