If you are looking for a good deal, and want to avoid paying those high dowtown prices, consider this place. It is very reasonable, and only a very short walk to the Red Line train stop that can take you into downtown in a matter of minutes. Got a very good deal at this conveniently located hotel for a three night break in Boston. Located a 5 min walk from the T station which will get you to downtown Boston within 10 mins. The walk itself isn't all that pleasant, there's road work everywhere and it's rather dingy at night. The hotel generally lived up to expectations.... more

The best part about this hotel was the price. Under 200 compared with 300 - 500 for any other place in Boston for marathon weekend. The major downsides were poor service and location. You have to drive and pay huge parking fees or take a trip on the T to do anything in Boston - nothing is within walking distance... more
