I only paid $129/night to stay at this hotel and it was well worth it! The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the bed was so comfortable! Although there is no restaurant hotel nor room service, there is an Au Bon Pain located in the hotel as well as a bar. The Staff was always helpful and friendly,... more

The Doubletree Club is easy enough to use as a base when you're in Boston- it's on the Red Line T, from the station its only a 2 or 3 minute walk to the hotel. We had a great rate for our stay and really couldn't find anything to complain about. As we waited to check in we were asked... more

Nice rooms, that were clean and spacious. In room coffee maker & hairdryer and very big, soft towels. They had a friendly and helpfull staff. The hotel is a bit outside of downtown Boston but is a very short walk to the transit station and it's very simple to catch a train that takes you downtown in about 15 mins.... more

We stayed at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend. We arrived approx. 30 minutes before the check in time and were quickly processed and allowed to check in. We recieved freshly baked cookies and were on our way within 3-4 mintues. Our hotel room was clean and very large. The bed was amazing and the view from our... more

A friend of mine and I had been planning this trip for a few months as we had tickets to see Stevie Nicks in concert at the Bank of America Pavillion. We had printed MapQuest directions but still could not find the hotel. We called the Double Tree and Jessica gave great directions. It only took us 10 minutes to... more

I had no complaints about this hotel. They have a free shuttle to the other Doubletree which is in Chinatown and to the airport. Boston is easy to get around with the METRO so no need to rent a car. Room was comfy & clean. Au bon Pain is in the lobby. It is ok for a snack. I would... more

My company placed me in this hotel since most other hotels were booked graduation weekend... so I was thankful i got a room. HOWEVER, there were several issues with this hotel. First- the condition of the interior of the rooms was bad. Furniture was busted, the chair next to my bed had all sorts of stains on it (so gross),... more

Some observations from an unremarkable stay: Positives: 1. Close to bay sidewalk - fantastic for running on. 2. Close to the JFK train station, but I'm not sure I'd walk through the neighborhood at night. 3. Au Bon Pain – Open late, consistent food and nice folks behind the counter (one poor fellow couldn't speak English, but was otherwise helpful)... more

My husband, 9 year old daughter and I stayed here in July 07. It was our first trip to Boston and we loved it. There was no need for a car the entire trip. The hotel picked us up from the airport and took us back. It also had a shuttle that took you straight into downtown Boston which was... more
