My wife and I stayed at the Marriott for a special getaway weekend. Bonnie and Eric were fantastic helping to make our anniversary stay special. We went to the Boston Wine expo and this location worked well to get to the Seaport and also allow us to be in the Fanueil Hall area where the action is. This is a... More

Great location and building. Certainly to remember. Rooms great, suites. Yet: breakfast very poor, and ony starting at 7am... weird hours. I guess more tuned toward vacationers. All in all, quite expensive for what you get. PS: check the lookout terrace, quite stunnig view 360 over Boston More

This is a beautiful historic building. There is an observatory where you can see the whole city from it. The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere. We did not try the restaurant. But there are so many good restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and the decor very elegant. It is pricey but well worth it. More

My family of four was looking for a place to stay the week between Christmas and New Year's. We looked around at a bunch of places. The issue was, with two teens, we needed two separate, adjoining rooms (but two hotel rooms x three days adds up to a lot) or a suite somewhere. Marriot's Custom House was far and... More

We love this hotel! It is always difficult as a family of 5 to find accommodations which will give us enough space. We love the set up of the rooms, one large space with a kitchenette and a living room with pull out sofa, a hallway where the bathroom is located then a bedroom with a separate door. So unusual... Beautiful hotel. Warm, welcoming staff. Perfect location - adjacent to Quincy Market and a very short walk to North Station. Go up to the secret observatory deck - great views of Boston. If possible, definitely do the Hotel Historical Tour. Karen the tour guide is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Gives a nice history of the hotel and Boston. Constant reminders... More

As others have said, this hotel has a wonderful central location. It is not a fancy hotel (don't expect Four Seasons), but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms good sized and very clean. The views from the rooms are great but for an even better view, go to the observation tower... More

We loved the Marriott Custom House. The rooms are suites with federal period furniture and are impeccable. The staff is so accommodating. We did not have children on this trip, but if we did we would have liked their extra kid-friendly activities. A trip to the Boston Pops Holiday Show is a must in December. We loved the location --... My brother is a Mariott member and gave me a night here as a Christmas present. The room was a large suite of the 4th floor. The view was of the Quincy Market and its enormous Christams tree, just lovely! Check in was simple, early arrival was accomodated. Valet parking is pretty steep, $39.00 per night so I parked the... Beautiful hotel, convenient location, big rooms! One block from Quincy Market where there is shopping and lots of restaurants, and close to the aquarium. The views from the hotel are awesome! More
