My husband and I wanted to find a special place to celebrate recently so we spent the night at XV Beacon in Boston. There were excellent reviews on-line, so we were confident we'd have a great time, but our stay there exceeded our lofty expectations. The hotel itself is elegant, but what especially impressed us was the genuine warmth and... More

So pleased I ended up here by accident. Was there for 2 says solo. The staff couldn't have been more helpful to me in booking great restaurants and things to do. It's on a gorgeous part of town near the common and adjacent to the state parliament. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Huge and comfy bad as well.... More

The staff at this hotel are beyond amazing. So super helpful and friendly. Hotel itself was awesome!! Impeccably clean and modern. Close to everything in the downtown area. Absolutely no complaints from this traveller. We will be back again.

We spent 2 nights in this fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of Boston and we loved it so much! This tiny place is located in the heart of Boston, in the beautiful Beacon Hill and just steps from Boston Common and the Freedom Trail. We arrived here on a cold evening after a quite long flight from the Caribbean... More

The room quality was excellent, especially the bed, which was as comfortable as any I have experienced at a hotel. The gas fireplace was a nice touch. The staff were quite helpful and friendly. I ate at Moo, their restaurant, and although it was a bit pricey, the food and service were very good.

The staff is impeccable and very helpful, particularly the concierge, Deborah, who went above and beyond to make sure our time in Boston was the best it could be. Our room had a sitting area with gas fireplace which was perfect during the snowy time we were there. The hotel overall was perfect and very well run.

We stayed 3 nights This would be the most beautiful hotel I have visited. Quaint, boutique, stunningly executed and fitted. Colours , fixtures and fine touches everywhere were of the highest quality. The room had a gas fireplace and sitting room.

XV Boston was the perfect place for visiting my family. It's right by the Boston Commons and has easy access to the subway (although the car service was amazing). I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to really explore Boston as you are located in the center of the city. Its easy to access different neighborhoods like the... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
