I have stayed in every four and five star hotel in Boston for both business and pleasure. By far, XV Beacon is THE place to stay. The hotel is perfectly situated. The rooms are unique, with a gas fireplace, and include every amenity one could ask for. The staff and concierge were extremely accommodating, providing those extra personal touches which... more

Simply an amazing place. We arrived before noon, just hoping to be able to leave our luggage before exploring Boston. Not only was a room made available, we were also upgraded to the next largest room! Each member of the staff was tremendous and made themselves available to anything you might need. The room was immaculate and was impressed that... more

This hotel is a true gem and one if its kind. I would call it a "boutique" hotel - a small hotel that is nestled in the beautiful area of Beacon Street in Boston. Upon arrival, we were greeted at our car, helped out and escorted into the hotel, while our luggage promptly removed and brought in for us and... more

Without a doubt, the best hotel we've stayed in! We can't say enough about it. The service and attention to us was impeccable. The room was beautiful and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff made us feel like royalty, as if we were the only ones in the hotel. The bartenders in Moo Restaurant were fun and... more

We had a Huge Room overlooking the street towards the park. It had a nice King bed, Fireplace and great bath room. We loved the location and felt it was easy to get around from a public transportation view. We utilized the hotels concierge quite a bit and also the hotel car to go to dinner. We would stay here... more

We were in Boston for sightseeing and had elected to stay at XV Beacon based on other reviews. We were not disappointed (except for the view from the room). The room was very nicely finished with a four poster queen-sized bed, HDTV and a fireplace--which turned out to be a great amenity since it was cool and wet in Boston... more

Beacon XV could be one of the best places i have stayed. They go above and behond in every detail. From the moment you walk in to getting to your room, you are treated like royalty. Everyone there is eagar to help you. The rooms are tastefully done. We enjoyed being able to set a time for room service in... more

It's nice, but not what it should be for the money. Small, overcrowded bedroom - no place to turn around, no place to put a room service tray. No washcloths or waste basket in the bathroom. No way to turn on the shower (and let it warm up) without standing under it. No half bottles of wine on the room... more

I was on my way to Provincetown and decided to spend a few days in Boston, just to look around. I prefer smaller boutique hotels over big dinosaur chain hotels and XV Beacon did not disappoint. I was given a large corner room with a view of the Common and a bit of skyline and the room itself was nicely... more

I second (and third) everything others have mentioned about this wonderful hotel . . . it truly is a great experience. Oh, and the Lexus with a driver, I felt like the queen of Boston for 3 days. more
