My husband and I stayed here one night when we came to Boston to go to a concert. We loved to location and proximity to the T, the common and great restaurants. The hotel also provides a car service if requested. Our room was clean and well stocked. We were on a lower level floor and did not have a... More

I always gravitate to boutique luxury hotels and one of the reasons I chose to stay at XV. The hotel property is beautiful and well appointed. The location couldn't be beat for anyone who is looking to be near amazing restaurants and shopping. The staff is outstanding. Most amazing for me was the fact that the first time in forever... More

With your average Holiday Inn coming in at about $300 a night in Boston, why not spend a bit more and stay in an outstanding hotel? Beautiful building with a great lobby and fabulous old elevators. Rooms are spectacular. From the gas fireplaces to room safe to the rain shower and everything inbetween, there is nothing they have missed. Gym... More

the XV is not a 'boutique' per se, it is 'classic chic'. Like the architecture, the design is of understated luxury and comfort. This is not a 'starck-esque' experience that require a manual to turn on lights, work the shower or figure out how where to hang clothes. Big spacious rooms (ours had a fireplace), with drawers, shelves and surfaces... More

This is a lovely hotel ideally placed in the centre of Boston. The staff made it. Why can't every hotel have staff this friendly and so eager to make our stay great? The concierge staff (particularly the excellent Olivia) were really helpful and the courtesy car is a nice extra. Mark and Paul ferried us entertainingly to restaurants. And the... More

On our first trip to Boston, we were recommended to stay at Beacon XV by friends in the UK. It was an excellent recommendation. The hotel is located in a lovely area almost opposite the Common. The room in which we stayed was clean and comfortable. A special mention must be made of the front desk staff and the concierge,... More

The location is terrific. We walked to the North End in ten minutes - and plenty of stuff is right near by. Front desk staff is on point - very courteous and accommodating. The room was great (fireplace was a nice touch) and the bed was great. Having stayed in this area before at other hotels, I wasn't expecting much... More

We arrived for a birthday weekend and were greeted by the friendliest valet and receptionist we've encountered in quiet some time. The rooms were on the smaller side, but every square inch was functional and it didn't feel as though we were in a typical boutique hotel. Great shower, bed and linens. They have a house car to use at... More

XV Beacon very quickly became our new favorite Boston hotel. The location is fantastic. The rooms are very nice - we dont usually go for modern decor but XV Beacon is very well done. Staff is quite friendly too. If the weather is nice there is a quiet roof deck too! Amazing views of the surrounding area. Get a drink... More
