Work in progress at the hotel which is partly covered by scaffolding and green netting. No prizes for guessing where our original room was. What is unacceptable is that there is no indication of the work mentioned on the hotel's website (and still isn't at time of writing). We would have taken another option if we had known. The hotel's... more

My primary consideration for choosing this hotel was its location. I was pleased with the convenience of the subway and convenience of the city attractions. I booked a reward stay and encountered no problems, though the staff were rather indifferent. I had requested early check-in, but was only able to get a room 30 minutes before the normal time, and... more

The air conditioning had apparently not been working for 2 days on floors 9-13. Despite this, when I checked in , the blower was blowing warm and humid air but the maid insisted the a/c had kicked in. A call to the operator came with a report that it would be fixed "momentarily". The charade continued with more lies and... more

I stayed at the Boston Financial District for 3 nights while attending a conference. I was very happy with the hotel. The hotel is in the heart of the financial district as the name might suggest and its surrounded by great pubs and restaurants and a short walk to Quincy Market. The staff were extremely helpful. They gave me wonderful... more

We had a king suite on the 9th floor -- it was a corner room so we could look out and see the water just 1/4 mile away or so. Not a lot of it, but our friends that stayed in a waterfront hotel said they could see less water from their hotel than we could! There were huge windows... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Financial district. Good hotel in good location. Unfortunately when we booked the hotel we did not notice that the hotel has so many different type of rooms, and we should consider next time to book a larger more comfortable room. Friendly stuff, all in all a good stay more

In a nutshell: I wasn’t that impressed with this hotel. Maybe I was expecting too much based on these very favorable reviews here… So certainly not a bad place but not a five star luxury hotel as such, just don’t think it is in the same league with e.g. Conrad or Four Seasons. Review is based on a five night... more

We live in the Boston metro area. Stayed here with my wife for a weekend getaway without the kids. This is a standard Hilton - we like to stay at Hiltons because we know they will be clean. This stay was no exception. White duvets are always nice. But there is nothing else really to write home about. Location is... more

We are from the Boston area (lived in Boston proper for many years) and just wanted to stay a bit closer to the venue for a concert this weekend now that we live out in the suburbs. I was a bit unsure about staying in the financial district over the weekend, but decided to give it a try. We got... more

I have completed a 5 night stay and liked this hotel for the following reasons: *you can walk to State, Aquarium or Downtown Crossing T stops which will get you everywhere you need to go (the 7 day T pass at $15 is a bargain- even for shorter stays it will easily pay for itself), *its a 5 minute walk... more
