This hotel is two blocks from Boylston subway station, two blocks from Boston Common and an easy walk to the Prudential Centre and Newbury Street. It is also walkable to Quincy Market area. Everything is within reach. Having said that, the rooms are not large, and the cleaning in the bathroom could have done with the "hotel inspector's" touch to... More

hmm...where to begin! Like others have said-the rooms are very small and our t.v. was mounted near the window so trying to watch it was pretty comical! There are 2 nightclubs right next to the hotel and the music is pumping ALL NIGHT! Not joking-from around 10 till 2 a.m. there was no chance of trying to fall asleep! Earplugs... More

Not a big fan of courtyards in general but this one was well below their average. Location isn't bad if you want to poke around the Back Bay section of Boston. But not exactly in the heart of anything (just off the beaten path). Rooms were small. Bathrooms TINY (pocket door and it was still tight). Carpets in common areas... More

We stayed here over for three nights over a weekend. The hotel room was comfortable, if a little small, the staff were friendly and helpful. We were offerred a room at the front of the hotel with a "city" view, this turned out to be a car park, the Wang Theatre and a distant skyline!! I also forgot the warning... More

The entrance to the hotel was dirty with gum residue and cigarette buts. The foyer floor had not been polished in months. The carpet in the elevator was filthy. I requested a room change when I inspected the pillows on the bed and saw the sweat stains. The replacement room had no bathtub, but a shower stale with the drain... More

Whenever I go on a business trip I chose a hotel to sleep and rest in. This one was offered by the show I was attending but it was horrible. I thought "Marriott means good quality" but absolutely not. First, we arrived very late [past midnight] and when we got to our room it was two doubles, so we called... More

We couldn't have gotten a better location. Blocks away from Newbury street, the public garden and beacon hill. Right in the heart of the theater district. Friendly staff, clean rooms, free, good coffee.

This hotel and our larger, accessible, king room was great for the $100 price we paid. If we paid full price for a regular sized king room I would be giving it 2/5. Overall it was clean and comfortable. Rooms have a small fridge and corded free internet, though we couldn't get ours to work and after 20 mins. trying... More

We stayed here on a 3 day visit to Boston and LOVED it. The location could not be better!!! The only thing in the negative column would be the room size.

I used this hotel because it was listed as a participating hotel for a medical convention. I booked a double--had confirmation to prove it--but when I checked in (my family came with me), only kings were available. The desk personnel made a big show that they would get me an "accessible" room, meaning handicapped accessible, supposedly bigger than their standard... More
