A change of plans found us in Boston for one night. We'd stayed at this property before. We noticed a big improvement in the lobby, including a Bistro, and we were assigned a remodeled room on the 10th floor. Still a little small but adequate for our needs. New bathroom was great and TV was very large. Location, location, location!... More

Dear Marman99 You are right about our newly renovated lobby and restaurant, both new since your last visit. There have been dramatic improvements. Our location is very convenient to everything in downtown Boston, including The Freedom Trail. Thanks very much for your comments! More

I was in Boston for three nights and chose the Courtyard, even though some of the reviews were less than stellar, due to it being handily placed for Boston Common and convenient position of being located two minutes from the Orange Line station at Tufts and five minutes from the Green Line station at Boylston. The hotel is an old... More

Stayed Aug 8- Aug 11 for a visit of Boston. This hotel while small was a great place. Staff friendly, location great and slept well every night. I was on the 8th floor and heard no noise. The activity outside was hopping. If you get a great deal like I did from priceline stay here

In Boston for a three day business meeting (so early starts and long days ... ). Small rooms, no baths, but good showers. Clean and great service, as expected from a Courtyard. Until 12:00AM when the next door disco kicks up the beat ... I was on the 7th floor for the first night, and the windows rattled with the... More

MichiganTresco, Thanking you for sharing your experience with us. I know a good nights sleep is key to any hotel stay and I am sorry you did not have that on this occasion. We will continue to work with the clubs as there are many things we can work on to reduce their effects on our guests. If you would... More

Stayed here during our honeymoon and when we mentioned that at check-in, we got a complementary bottle of wine - nice! Room was "handicap accessible" so it was large and wide. Right across from the elevators but didn't have any noise issues. For a Courtyard, I was blown away by how nice it was. Normally I think "Courtyards are okay,... More

We had no idea what to expect after reading the mixed reviews about this hotel. The best thing was the fantastic location. You are in the heart of the theatre district with lots of shops and the subway within a 5 minute walk. There is a Panera Bread within a two minute walk which was great. We weren't paying the... More

We were in town to see Katy Perry at the Garden. Wanted to stay close to everything and this is as good as you can find. Right in the heart of the tiny Theatre district (the Wang is across the street and the Shubert is literally next door). So if location is important you can beat it. We paid $150... More

We waited too long to book a room during a big baseball weekend, so the downtown pickings were slim and prices were premium. The weekend before we had stayed at a Residence Inn in the Seaport area and for not much more money, our room was completely fantastic in an equally impressively renovated industrial building with one of the best... Black Budget, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent stay. The Residence Inn you mentioned is fantastic. We are in the middle of our renovation and I suspect we were not able to accommodate you in a renovated room on this trip. We plan to complete all of the rooms by the end of the... More

Previous reviews stated loud music, rude staff.....our experience was the opposite. We were helped in with our 3 bikes, and luggage. We parked across the street at the tufts medical center, as they suggested....We arrived with two other families, with lots of bikes and luggage and were all checked in quickly AND all given rooms near each other! never have... If this is a "renovated" property I'm completely puzzled. Room is TINY. Bathroom even smaller; shower only. I can tell you exactly why the wife next door is so mad at her husband... because i heard EVERY word of their conversation. Or I could just stand in the hall and listen to conversations in other rooms; the door across the... More
