we stayed here and walked down to the Fireworks show on the 4th of July. It was the perfect spot for that! this hotel is not your 'typical' Courtyard. In fact when i walked in I couldn't believe i was actually at a Courtyard because it was so nice! only problem - and it is a big one if you... More

If you like small and musty rooms with slow internet and a bar that closes at 10:00, then this is your hotel. I spend many nights traveling and one of the poorer experiences. Decent location, but very small rooms, slow internet, the bar closes at 10:00 due to their liquor license and their is a musty smell through out the... More

Very impressed with the location and helpful front desk staff on arrival. The room was a good size with a big comfy bed but the walls were thin and there was some work being done in the morning but not much to worry about it. We enjoyed our stay in Boston and recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights on business. Room small, faced office building, quite dark, however had everything I needed, except water. There is a shop next to reception where I could get some. Used conference facilities too, wifi for conferences is expensive, room logins work in conference room so think through whether you really need it. Room was cold on day... More

Great location, friendly staff, perfect 10-20 walks to many tourist locations. Half the price of near by hotels. We walked to Quincy Market, Prudential Skywalk, Museum of Science, the Boston Aquarium, Cheers and many other great places. Be sure to visit these restaurants: Lolita's, South Street Diner (15 types of eggs Benedict), Italian Express Pizzeria, Union House Oysters, and the... More

I was stuck in Boston because my husband had been admitted to Tufts in the middle of the night. No knowing I couldn't stay I had no where to go. I walked in and a man named Christopher was a tremendous help, and very kind and professional all at the same time. He went above and beyond to make me... More

We had a beautiful room! The bed was great, the bathroom was refinished recently and was beautiful as well. Shower was amazing. The staff at this hotel was top notch from the bellman, to the front desk and even the cleaning staff were as friendly as could be. The hotel was extremely clean, welcoming, and I would highly recommend this... More

In town for four days with family and the hotel was very well located to everything. We were close to Boston Common, the Theatre District, picking up the Freedom Tour and Trolley Tours. Great restaurants in the area too! Staff we very attentive to our needs.

The positives: the hotel is well located and walking distance form everything you would want to see. The lobby area is attractive enough and the reception staff were friendly and efficient. The negatives: our room was very small with little space for our two suitcases and my golf clubs. We British have a saying "not enough room to swing a... More

Dear IanMac1960, Thank you for staying at the Courtyard Boston Downtown. We appreciate you pointing out our best features: the great location in the heart of Boston within walking distance from all the attractions, our newly designed comfortable lobby space and the friendly and efficient staff. That being said, our 1920’s era hotel has guest rooms that are much smaller... More

We stayed at this hotel because it was the headquarters for a music festival. It was very well-located, with a subway stop nearby and a nice selection of restaurants within a few blocks. The front desk staff was friendly and answered all of our questions, and when we needed a few extra items in the room they were brought to... More

Dear Discdogmom, Thank you for staying at the Courtyard Boston Downtown recently and sharing your great feedback on our friendly and accommodating staff. We appreciate that! Our historic rooms are small. The designer worked meticulously on maximizing every square inch of space for guest comfort. We appreciate the feedback on how we can improve. Thanks! Sincerely, Cathleen W. More
