This Courtyard is located in a historic building on Tremont in downtown Boston, right around the corner from the new W Hotel. The area has theaters, nighlife and universities, so there's a definite weekend 'vibe' to the area. The hotel, however, lacks the quality and consistency that draws Marriott Courtyard lodgers. The hotel does not lack charm, but charm is... more

Stayed here for 5 nights for my 30th birthday. The location is ok as Boston is very small to get around. Only a short walk to all the major attractions. The room had everything we needed for a few days with the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced from a hotel (wanted to bring it home with me!!) the... more

This Courtyard reminded me a lot of many budget European hotels in that the rooms are small (like really small), the decor is outdated, and the public spaces are 10 to 15 years past the time in which they really should have been refurbished. That said, if you are in Boston to see the theater, the location can't be beat.... more

As a company recommended hotel I stayed one night at the Courtyard Tremont and I had concerns after reading previous reviews. The location - this was the first time I did not feel comfortable in an area and thankfully I spent time in the Back Bay area the following week which gave me a far better impression of Boston. This is the3rd week I've stayed at the Marriott. If you have a room on the 15th floor, you will have a regularly sized room. Otherwise, they are small. On Sunday nights the bar next door has a transvestite night, so don't be surprised! The staff is very friendly and I have no complaints. more

For a major hotel in a major city this is disappointing. Postage-stamp sized room, below average bathroom facilities, dingy and depressing lobby and hallway lighting. But the worst is the paper-thin walls. We listened to conversations in rooms on both sides of ours with no difficulty. "High speed" internet is a slow LAN network. Stay somewhere else if you need... more

We stayed for 3 nights for an enjoyable trip to Boston. What this hotel lacks in location (a fifteen minute walk to main attractions in a relatively small city), it makes up for in comfort. The room was small but modern, tasteful and very comfortable. (The most comfortable beds in the world - we didn't want to leave and see... more

I stayed here with my wife and 2 little girls in October 2009. Let me say wouldn't recommend staying here unless you are seeing a show in the theater district. The location was nice, but it is right in the middle of downtown and traffic can be difficult. Parking costs $36 per night and you have to tip the valet... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel just this past weekend. It was really a wonderful place and highly recommended. We did ask for a room on a high floor before we went and they had one all ready for us. It was on the 15th floor and was a very nice size. The bathroom was large also. It... more
