My wife and I just stayed at the Courtyard on Tremont St. This was the perfect location for watching a show and finding a good restaurant all within walking distance of the hotel. Let me say the staff was wonderful and free wifi. The Valet and Doorman remembered us each time we walked back into the hotel. We are both... More

This hotel is cheaper than the other chains in the area. This is why: - Old and tiny rooms - Cold showers in the morning... yes, no hot water - Paper thin walls - Stay as far away as possible from the banquet rooms. We were on the 9th floor and we could hear the music from a wedding going... More

Dear Keenan M., Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at the Courtyard Boston Downtown. I am sorry that your shower water was not hot, hot, hot. We recently had some renovation work done that necessitated partial water shut offs. I am sincerely sorry that we caused an interruption in your comfort. As the title says and you might expect; this is no frills. Small rooms, few amenities, in need of a remodel.... I could go on. The positive is that is conveniently located and clean. Don't expect anything more. The staff are polite and helpful. I have stayed at many Marriott hotels and this one sits on the bottom of my... More

I stay at Marriott hotels frequently. In fact, I stayed here about six years ago and it wasn't bad. They've had some renovations since then but, from what I could see, none for the better. The room I was in was barely bigger than a closet. No place to put luggage except on top of the desk. Had to use... More

Dear John S. Thank you for frequenting Marriott Hotels when you travel. We sincerely appreciate your business. I am sorry that your recent stay in Boston was not a positive experience. I am sorry that the noise from the nightclubs was audible to you. Thanks for mentioning the responsive engineering staff member who immediately responded to your request. Our unique... More

I had concerns about other Tripadvisor reviews on this place in Chinatown. It appeared that the hotel was somewhat dated but there were updated rooms. Therefore I made a reservation and confirmed that it was in the updated section. What a super room. Absolutely beautiful. These rooms do not have a kitchen or free breakfast or even a fridge but... While attending a meeting at the Hynes Convention Center, I wanted to find a hotel that was not too expensive yet conveniently located. The hotel was 5-7 minutes walking distance from the Green Line which had multiple possibilities for going to the Convention Center which was another 5-6 minutes walk from the Metro station. Thus, I found the hotel location... More

Nice lobby and decent service. Location is nice. It is a courtyard, so I didn't expect full service. Staff was nice, though. The neighborhood around the hotel is OK. You need to walk to the best part of Boston. At night, not so hot.

When you are in downtown of a huge city paying over $500 a night. You expect an experience a step above the Hampton Inn. However a Hampton Inn would have been welcome. My biggest peeve: NO FOOD ON PREMISE. Bar closes at 10 pm. The hotel was packed but no one in the lobby, not a soul, and I see... More

During a weekend stay, we experienced a very pleasant visit. Though a little small, the room was comfortable and clean and the bed sure felt good after our busy day at Fenway Park. The modern decor was a nice surprise, but the best had to be the staff. The Front Desk Team was cordial, professional, friendly and accommodating. Not sure... More

The hotel is nice. Nothing amazing but clean and lots of dining options around the hotel. The best part of this hotel is the amazing front desk team and the rest of the staff. Everyone was helpful and extremely nice. This is a great option for business or fun.
