Nice and comfortable with private bath (need to request). Keith and Victor excellent hosts with good recommendations for meals and very useful tips on getting around. Easy walk to Fenway if baseball game in your plans. The "T" is maybe a 5 minute walk and easy to get anywhere else you want to travel in Boston. Use the "other amount"... More

My husband and I along with another couple stayed here for a night. We were in Boston to see a Red Sox game. The location was perfect…….we walked to the ball park and restaurant suggested by the management. The next day, before checking out we walked down Newbury Street and back to the Oasis via Boylston Street. No complaints!

Compared to the exorbitant prices of hotels in Boston, the Oasis is a good value in a reasonably accessible location, walking distance of the Symphony T station (and others nearby). Probably a more pleasant walk in July than it would be in February. It is convenient to some of the higher education institutions south of the heart of the city... More

Nothing in life is perfect, but Oasis Guest House was pretty close! I stayed there for last weekend while performing at Boston's Paramount Center. My mother was traveling with me, so we booked a room with a queen size bed and private bath. The room also had a closet, leather couch, and TV (which was thankfully super easy to navigate).... More

The price is right for Boston, cheap. It's a set of row houses that have been converted. Yeah, the room was super small and really outdated. It's in a lower rent college area so don't expect great restaurants nearby. Close to the subway. An OK place to stay, just keep your expectations at a reasonable level.

My husband and I had booked two nights here. We got in late (9pm) and when we saw the room we were completely disappointed (ruined the three day vacation we were on). The room size was literally 12 foot by 8 foot with a full size bed on one end that you had to turn sideways and slide against the... More

This guest house is good for the breakfast (is very large), the friendly staff and the position (near fenway park) but is't too expensive for the room! The room is very small and the bathroom is shared.

The location was great, so close to Fenway and right around the corner from a T station. While it's "no frills", the room and shared bath were clean. Keith, at the front desk, was extremely nice, helpful and a wealth of information regarding the city. A great place to stay for a night or two. I'd highly recommend it.

I stayed at Oasis Guest House for 1 night en-route to another location, and was very pleased at what I got for the price. The room was basic and not terribly spacious --> not a problem for me; the whole point of travelling is to spend as little time in the room as possible. Location is *excellent* whether you're after... More
