Oasis is conveniently located off Massachusetts Avenue and a couple of T stops. A short walk from the MFA and a good but not undoable walk from Cambridge. The people who work here are nice, and it was pretty affordable. Nice continental breakfast in the morning, although not really much of a place to eat it. The rooms themselves are... More

I don't live far from the city, but going to Fenway for a baseball game or a concert, the best thing to do is stay the night. So, without taking out a mortgage, where can you stay near Fenway? THE OASIS! Walking in I felt like I was visiting a friend. There were people sitting in the living room talking... More

We almost forgot to harness the best reason for staying at a B&B. - Getting tips from a local! This B&B has a lot of return visitors and people associated with the universities and hospitals in the area. For that reason and because they're just darn nice, unobtrusive folks, the owners don't bother you. What does that mean? Well -... More

The place was close to public transportation. You get what you pay. The breakfast was ok to start your day coffee, fruit, and bread. The place is small I got a room with private bathroom, it was nice because it was close to everything.

Small but tastefully done and an excellent place to explore Boston. We found hotel prices in Boston too expensive but our tour company recommended this small bed and breakfast hotel. They were right. Thank you for the stay.

Walking distance (3 to 4 blocks) to great restaurants and night spots. Hotel owner gave us some great tips on restaurants within walking distance, as well as other spots within city and directions on getting there. Parking in back is tight! Be careful! We only had a car to take a day trip to Stockbridge. Don't take a car if... More

We stayed here for two nights, the place was clean and the beds comfortable but that's about it. On arrival the receptionist took us to our rooms walking behind whilst we hauled our own cases down steps, along the street, up steps into another door and up the staircase to rooms which were extremely small with nowhere to put cases.... A great location with great front end personnel. A 15 minute walk to anything and everything. 2 minutes to Whole Foods. Hosts Victor and Keith were as accommodating as I've encountered. Never treated me like a tourist. Quick breakfast to get you going and chat with other travelers. Small but efficient rooms and setting. I don't mind a shared bath.... More

Greeted by a surly person. You'd think if you were running a guest house you'd have some people skills. Not helpful in suggestions for places to eat or things to do. We had to haul our luggage up a narrow stairs to the third floor, with no offer of assistance. The air conditioning was terrible - if there even was... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
