My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night this past weekend. It was not our first choice but I am beyond happy we ended up staying here! The service was super great, friendly, and clean! The man at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The location is in a convenient area and the price was convenient. We... More

perfect location, all the amenities a typical person would need. Unless you demand superior pampering, your stay here will be relaxing and easy, while saving money. The staff was helpful and breakfast was great. -- Space heaters or thermostat control should be available as it gets quite cold (likely old insulation). More security wouldn't hurt, as its on the guests... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in October A smart house on a good street. Victor was very helpful prior to our stay by making special arrangements for our late arrival one the Amtrak from NYC. We had a comfortable twin bedroom room with bath. Perfectly fine though short on hanging space for two people. Great buffet style continental breakfast:... More

Booked this Guest House on recommendation of travel books. Good location even though the taxi drivers didn't have a clue where it was. Reasonably close to the worst Train system in USA. Dirty stations and rust bucket carriages. Many food outlets close by. Rooms clean and comfortable though lack the character one would expect in a heritage style building. En-suite... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Though the staff is really friendly and helpful, if you're not the type of person that don't mind the "hostel" atmosphere, then don't stay there. It's really close to the Barklee College of Music, Prudential Building and the Public Park is about a 15 minutes walk!

We were very comfortable here. In the morning we could get coffee downstairs and bring it up to our room, and we parked our car behind the building for $20/day. Right near Berklee and Northeastern U., and a short walk to the MFA. And there's a T stop just a couple blocks away.

Great location my wife and I walked everywhere. But close to all transit. Bed was comfortable and room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again. Keith was especially helpful at the front desk.

We needed a place to stay on our last night in New England before leaving early the next morning. We wanted a place in Boston so we could at least do a little sightseeing in the city. In hindsight, it would have been much better to stay outside the city and taken a train in. We chose Oasis based on... More

We found the Oasis by accident and booked two rooms without any knowledge of the place or the location. We knew where it was but we were not that familiar with Boston. Well it all turned out well the rooms were great, the management was friendly and helpful, and the location was walking distance to everything. We highly recommend the... More

Basic room facilities Clean but characterless. Ground floor / front rooms noisy. Their own porch light floods through the blinds [no curtains] No room safe. Leave passport / cash / valuables at desk, but limited access - the clerk needs to have the code. Desk not manned overnight. Breakfast is a good buffet - eat in small lounge, or take... More
