Boston is an expensive destination but Oasis, and their "extension" Adams, are not. For two "mature" Brits the stairs are not a problem but for infirm visitors they could be. That's the only reason I have downmarked the rooms, their accessibility for some visitors. Oasis is well placed for Boston's subway, the "T", on which you can go everywhere for... more

Yes, as other reviewers have said, rooms are a bit small, but I didn't mind. All I was doing in there was sleeping, showering, and watching a little t.v. Didn't need a huge space. They were nicely decorated, so that was a plus. Had my own private bathroom, which not all rooms do. It was fine for me, except a... more

We stayed at The Oasis Guest House for 3 nights in October during our Honeymoon. This is a very basic, very pleasant place to stay. It is small, clean and in a safe neighbourhood. The proprietors/ staff are friendly, knowledgeable and charming. The rooms are cozy and well-kept. Our bathroom was comedic - we are two tall, sturdy people -... more

this place is outdated. the furniture looks dirty and really old. It is advertised as a GAY guesthouse but it is nothing of the sort, most guests are middle-age couples from the midwest who frown upon you only because one's traveling alone. The bathrooms don't seem to be enough especially in the mornings. So if you are a gay man... more

We spent one night in Boston and Oasis was a very good choice. Guys at the front desk were very kind with us, always helpful and smiling. Rooms are very nice and the overall look&feel is warm. more

I had stayed for two days in this hotel a week ago. The room was recently renovated and was very tidy. There was no disturbance at all. The best place to spend a vacation as it is situated in very posh locality with every basic facility easily accessible. Really had a great time..! more

Booked to stay here as part of a month long East Coast trip with my girlfriend in June/July 2008. We stayed in a variety of places during our trip, from hostels to hotels, but this place was by far the worst! We paid $135 a night, and upon arrival we were asked to pay the full amount for our 3... more

Nice and clean place. Room with shared bathroom is small the bed, small table and tv but quite enough for solo traveler. Nice location, very quiet but close to subway, shoping, restaurant, public transport. Good breakfast, nice front reception guy. Cheap comparing to ***hotel in city center. Recomended. more

This is a very nice B&B, comfortable, cozy and close to everything near Boston's Back Bay. It was a five-to-ten minute walk to my meeting places, the Hynes Convention Center and the Harvard Club. The room was a nice size, but had only a sofa for seating, no desk or chair for working. However, the lobby did have a computer... more
