We spent a weekend in March 2014 in this hotel. It is at walking distance from the city center. Our room was small but comfortable, in good shape and very-very clean. The staff was also very friendly and helpful (we also requested a baby bed for our 2year old. When we arrived everything was prepared as discussed in advance.) Although... More

Decent hotel at short walking distance from Boston centre. My single room was small, not very new but clean and comfortable. Walls are thin so you hear some noise form other rooms, bit it was never really annoying. Breakfast is basic. on the other end it was one of the cheapest available. It you look for a value hotel clean... More

Certainly a budget hotel, the Milner is undergoing a face lift, much of which is completed. Rooms have been freshened, and the general appearance of the public areas improved. It is clean and respectable. Security guard is on night duty, although the location is safe. Within 5 minutes walk of Boston Common. Breakfast included.

Old, tacky and rude receptionist. Price quoted on Booking.com was less than what I ended up paying. No alternative offered when I showed proof of what was originally quoted. Rip off. Only thing in favour of this place is location.

We did not have much choice. Affordable Hotels in Boston difficult to find, but quality/price a real stretch here. $270 is not cheap by any standard, certainly not for two-star hotel. Reception staff rude and unhelpful, room old and tiny. But to get breakfast on plastic plates with plastic knives and forks is amazing.to go the hostel around the corner.... More

Hotel was okay, older rooms, but clean. Bathroom was suprisingly decent. Good location, we could walk where we wanted to go. Breakfast was the normal carb-feast that is provided in a lot of american hotels.

For my first trip to this elegant and small city, I chose the Milner Hotel Boston Common, located just below the Common, and close to the theatre district. Chinatown is not far either, but my focus was the shopping streets, like Newbury and the famous Copley Mall. The arrival was well received by a charming lady receptionist, who found my... More

We (my husband and I) stayed at the hotel for three nights in the room 408 ( double queen beds). This is definitely the old building but it has character and charm of being not a cookie-cutter style. There were no screaming children or sorority parties. Room was just right size for the two of us, air conditioner/heater was located above the... More

A room with a bed smaller than a normal single bed(called a double). Not possible to place a suitcase on the floor anywhere. No closet. No fridge. The whole room dusty. The walls so thin, that you could hear everything the neighbor said. The window faced a small black shaft and in the bottom of this was a nightclub with... More

Unless you wish to stay up all night long with people who go to night clubs don't go to the Milner. If your room is on the main street is impossibile to sleep during the week end. I arrived after an intercontinental flight and I was up from 1-4 in the night because of people screaming in the road and... More
