I stayed in a single room in the hotel for 4 nights in September 2014. Though the room was basic it was perfectly adequate for my purposes and clean, with WiFi and a small television. Breakfast consisted of a self service buffet with cereals, pastries, the option to make you're own waffles, toast, bagels and a fruit juice machine and... More

I stayed here for the location and price since the convention hotels sold out. The location is good-Boston Common is a couple of blocks and there are restaurants and shopping nearby. That's good for a star then it's all downhill. There is quaint and classic then there is decrepit. This place is decrepit and uncomfortable. The street noise is so... More

The hotel itself was tired and in need of some refurbishment, particularly carpets, and redecoration, but the fact that we could walk within 30 minutes to shopping streets/mall, Quincy market, great restaurants and waterfront was a real bonus. (Atlantic Fish Company on Boylston Street was fantastic but you need to book to be sure of table). Our room on fifth... More

We compared a ton of hotels before going. We opted to pay a bit more since there were 4 of us going, Figured we'd get a bigger room etc.... Did Not work out that way. We had booked 2 queens, it was 2 doubles. Which wouldn't of been so bad if there was more than a foot and a half... More

This hotel rooms are dated but clean, comfy beds and have all facilities. The location is good and the staff are lovely and friendly. They are really happy to help with tourist stuff and food suggestions.

I paid around $196 a night in July 2014. I guess it's a tough call to give only three stars to a hotel in a good location but pretty steep price in Boston. I guess every hotel in Boston is expensive! Room is very small and crammed in. Shower could do with a bit of an upheaval. The aircon is... More

Stayed at the Milner and had an alright experience. The staff were not overly friendly but they had information and gave it if asked. Our room was on the first floor at the end of the hallway. It was small and clean, although since it is an old hotel, It felt dingy. The air conditioner was so loud it kept... More

Hotel prices are extortionate in Boston. But this one seemed to be unusually affordable compared to the others. If you are in Boston for a meeting and you need somewhere clean, central, secure for a night or two, frankly, this will do quite well. Breakfast was pretty good and staff all seemed very friendly too. Landings a bit worn...but then... More

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights. Breakfast was good! Our room was tiny but clean. The staff was helpful. Wifi did not reach my room on the first night, I informed the front desk and it was fixed that night. The hotel is well located. Easy to reach all places on foot. Breakfast served until 11 am was great... More

Was in town for my cousins wedding and stayed here because I got a deal for it. The hotel is very small and run down it was built in the 1800s and some of the decor looks like it came from then. Our room 510 was very small and the floor was slanted. The tiles in the bathroom were chipping... More
