What a great property. I have heard about the place for many years but never stayed there. The location cannot be beat. Easily accessible to Copley, the Commons and the train station. You dont feel lost here. It is very safe and is located around the corner from some incredible restaurants. Great deals based on availability. I stayed in one... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in Boston in March 09. We got to the hotel via the T-subway from the airport (bit of a faff but worth doing for the money saved on a cab) after a tiring flight. Our room was on the 7th floor and whilst I was nervous about being the first room from the lift, we... more

I just go back home from a perfect stay at the chandler Inn in Boston. If you are planning a trip to Boston you can't beat this hotel value for money. After a rough first night at a room on the first floor the accommodating staff was happy to move me to another room which was excellent. The hotel is... more

It's a nicely renovated hotel, the rooms are modest but well designed. The internet works. There's no tea/coffee in the room (but there is in the lobby) and no bath (just a shower), so it missed two of my "must-haves"... But the staff were helpful and pleasant, it was a very reasonable price, and the location's fine, close enough to... more

Stayed in one of the remodeled rooms. I walked down the stairs and it appears only two of the floors are renovated, several are under renovation, and several are not. Negatives: 1. Lobby is just a registration desk - so sitting area, no bar, no restaurant 2. Rooms are tiny 3. No closet in room - there is a rack... more

well i had all good things to say about the chandler inn until today. Upon staying there over the past couple weeks while apartment hunting in the city, we were first given one of the redone boutique style rooms at the rate we found online...this continued thru everytime we came back or extended our stay with them up until today...We... more

Well, after reading some reviews on this hotel I am really wondering if they stayed at the same one I was in. The room was really nice, small bathroom but very cozy, clean and new. The room was very fancy, flat big screen, hundreds of channels, an authentic Panton chair!!, very confy bed and everything neat and clean. Even the... more

Hotel was in a fantastic location in the south of Boston within easy walking distance of both Copley Square and downtown Boston. The room was a reasonable size and clean. They were also fantastic at offering a late check out - 2pm on a Friday afternoon - much appreciated. Only negative comment is that the windows do not give much... more

This is basic accommodation. Room is small, good location, clean (although sheets not changed in an 8 night stay). Friendly if slightly defensive staff. Note that this hotel is near the Mass, turnpike so you have traffic noise all night. There would not appear to be any quiet rooms (according to front desk). Great gay sports bar downstairs and dont... more
