I just returned from a girls trip to Boston (4 ladies) where we stayed at Aisling Bed and Breakfast. I have to agree with everyone's glowing reviews. It was so wonderful - within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. James picked us up at the airport upon arrival and then took us to catch the Amtrak... More

Dympna and James are wonderful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Aisling B & B. Location was perfect for exploring all parts of Boston and surroundings with easy access to public transportation and great neighborhood restaurants. Dympna's outstanding breakfasts were a great way to start the day and the conversations were delightful! We are seasoned B... More

It was my husband and myself ' s first stay at a B&B and we could not have asked for a better stay. We were welcomed by James to a beautiful historical home in a great location, close to shops and restaurants. The rooms were beautifully decorated and we slept very comfortably. My favourite part was the amazing breakfast spread,... More

I have stayed at many B & B's and this one certainly tops my list of favorites! The room was lovely. Hard wood floors, spacious, a large closet (almost walk in), a bookshelf with great books, a large bathroom. The hosts Dympna and James were truly delightful and extraordinarily hospitable. The breakfasts delicious. The location was perfect for us. We... More

We usually treat ourself to an overnight stay at a B&B when we do our "big trips". This was our first trip to Boston so we did a bit of research into a possible B&B stay while we were there. We settled on Aisling B&B and were so glad we did. We stayed in the Murmod room which was next... More

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Aisling B&B. The room (Murmod Sanctuary) was lovely, and had a pull out couch so that the room could sleep 3 people. The breakfasts were outstanding and quite huge- fruit salad, yogurt, beverage choices, toast, and main dish (quiche one day, and strawberry crepes the other). They were able to accommodate a gluten-free diet too.... More

Our visit to the Aisling was exceedingly enjoyable. It's the perfect location--within a couple of blocks you will find many lovely gardens and parks AND the city's best coffee house and Italian restaurant! James and Dympna are excellent conversationalists, very warm and friendly, and made us feel welcome like family in their lovely and historic home. The Aisling is a... More
