This is my last night of a four night stay and I've been reasonably happy with my accomodations and service. The hotel is new and the rooms are nicely appointed. Taxi fare from the BOS airport was $24.00. I'm a Marriott Rewards member and have asked twice for a paper in the morning and have yet to receive it. Perhaps... more

Unless you must be close to Boston Commons and downtown businesses, this is a great place. It's a high rise with 400 rooms, just a block from the waterfront and the No Name Seafood Restaurant. It opened early in 2008, is sleek and modern, has a great staff, and the rooms are large and well appointed with an excellent television... more

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 1 night on route to Provincetown, the hotel location was great, it was so near the ferry terminal and also the town centre. The staff at the hotel were great and very friendly and very helpful. After check out I had asked for an umbrella and was given one straight away.... more

Trusted that the front desk could take my credit card and make the appropriate charges - I won't make that mistake again. Despite having prepaid for the room on priceline.com, they tried to charge me three different times for the room. This billing nightmare persisted even after the front desk "manager" claimed to have fixed the problem. The whole credit... more

The new Marriott Renaissance Waterfront is a beautiful, high tech hotel with one of the best set up for all our tech toys but beware of the bathroom doors! I shut mind and could not get it open. I did not lock it...just shut the door. Lucky for me, I was traveling that night with my mother, unlucky for me,... more

I did not know what to expect going to this hotel. The prices for hotels in Boston were outrageous! This one seemed to be a little less. There weren't too many reviews which made me very nervous. We were 3 miles from the airport and decided to take a taxi for a ridiculous price 14 dollars per person for 3... more

My husband and I stayed June 5-8. The hotel is only 4 months old, and very, very nice. The decor is almost identical to the Renaissance Times Square. Check in was easy, and they gave us late check out too. It is odd that they don't have a bell room where you can leave luggage in the event you have... more

Stayed her over Memorial Day weekend and was pleasantly surprised. This Hotel is in the new "waterfront district". It is a revitalized area spurred on by the new convention center and is being designed and developed specifically toward conventioneers and business travelers. We drove and the arrival route was simple - right off of the Big Dig Tunnel (which itself... more

As others have written, this hotel is new and has some very nice amenities. Although the room was not very large, the bed was very comfortable. My issue with the Renaissance is that the air condiitioning never worked during my 3 night stay at the hotel, although I requested that it be repaired on Wednesday morning, Wednesday evening, and Thursday... more

The Renaissance was a great modern hotel. I thought it was pricey since it isn't located near any of the Boston attractions. The rooms are clean and have a great view of the water. The staff was nice but not necessarly knowledgable of buses and subway stops. They want everyone to take a taxi. There is a bus stop less... more
