It's fabulous here, the architecture and the way they have converted the old prison is amazing. It has a really boutique feel and a definite wow factor. It's not in the centre of Boston (Newbury/Boylston) but it is close to the common and Faneuil Hall, so it's nice to be in a different part of town if your familiar with... More

Nice touch of prose co on arrival. Stunning conversion of a holding prison. A bit disappointed we were not lucky to stay in a cell. I don't think there are that many of theses cells available. The hotel is notwithi walking distance of the cente although public transport and ta is are good.

This property is unique and a great stay. Very nice rooms, and the hotel itself is converted from a local red-brick jail. No jail feel or weirdness to it, though, just top notch amenities. The workout room is not big, but where this is located, it is easy and more fun to just walk-off the calories around town. The front... More

This former jail still feels dark and dank.,very young vibe which was not what I was looking for..overpriced parking at $50 for the night and in-room breakfast for two was $60 for just two bagels with coffee and juice. It was very clean with decent rooms, nice baths but it wasn't nearly as elegant as most Boston Hotels are and... More

We stayed for just one night in February for a quick getaway. The location was just what we wanted-right across from the T stop and within walking distance of Beacon Hill, Boston Common and Faneuil Hall. We had a very friendly woman (I don't remember her name) check us in. Loved the welcome glass of champagne-a great way to start... More

I stayed at the Liberty for two nights for a conference. I arrived by public transportation and the Liberty is 30 seconds from the 'T'. My room was excellent, the full bath and all the accompanying details (shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, robe) were fantastic. A hotel in the US with an ironing board and iron in the closet is new... Stayed overnight with a friend for a girl's weekend. Wish we stayed somewhere else! So disappointed about so much. Be prepared for front desk service without a smile - the gentleman who checked us out didn't even ask how our stay was and couldn't even smile! Also, be prepared to pay $49.00 per DAY (so a 1 night stay is... More

Thank you very much for your candid feedback, we appreciate it! We’re so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. This is not the exceptional service we are known for at The Liberty. I am sorry that you did not have a good checkout experience – all guests should receive a smile and a warm greeting. I... More

Very nice building with great atmosphere, the staff are very helpful, a walking distance from the T station so it is easy to go around the city. The rooms are big, generally clean, but it was noisy over the weekend...

We stayed here for a night. The site is beautifully restored and the stylization is fitting throughout with some lovely dining options. However, the valet parking is mandatory, there are no other options and you're not all that close to anything that you'd want to walk to in the winter. It's an excellent location if you're leaving for the airport... More

Stayed in a Superior King for 2 nights for business at discounted rate from Expedia. Concierge checked me in promptly and offered a welcome drink, the room was clean, great temperature control, and quiet room, furthest away from the elevators facing away from the traffic. The hotel has complimentary car service which took me to Back Bay with no issues.... More
