The Liberty Hotel has been beautifully restored and it was a great experience staying there. The rooms are plush and well maintained. However, for the price of the room you would expect a lot more personal service and catering to. It seems that though they consider themselves a luxury hotel they to do not offer the attention that you get... more

Tries to be stylish, but is not luxurious and is quite overpriced. The worst part is that since this building used to be a prison, ex-convicts like to come here to reminesce. I saw ex-cons in the lobby and in the bar, which was very uncomfortable and not an experience that I would expect from this expensive a hotel. more

My husband and I stayed at the hotel last year and had a very enjoyable 2 days. The room was great and the service good. Just over a year later, what a change. We arrived with our 3 children and looked forward to enjoying a luxurious couple of days. We had requested interconnecting rooms and were then led to two... more

The Liberty Hotel is a great hotel - originally built as a prison in the 1800's and only recently renovated into a cutting-edge contemporary hotel. I little pricey, but not unreasonable, in my opinion. more

We traveled to Boston in July to drop my nephew off for a conference and my sister told me to find the hotel. I googled Boston and up came The Liberty. They were running a special rate so I signed us up and it was everything we dreamed of. Simply superb staff, terrific food, and a bar scene that lined... more

Great hotel to "people watch". We were checked in with a glass of champagne and our bags were brought up quickly to our room. Our view was of the river and not far from Fenway. We walked to a few restaurants and also caought cabs from the hotel very easily. The rooms were nice and spacious. We spent some time... more

Just returned from a recent stay at the Liberty. DO NOT stay here if you need to sleep at night. I was there for a business trip, and my room was literally booming until after 12:30am on a Thursday night. I could hear loud music through the windows and the hallway, and had to turn the fan on high to... more

Stayed for a week at the Liberty Hotel and it made our stay perfect. Ideal place for single girls to go and have some fun. Incredible hotel, real wow factor, great bar and lobby downstairs that comes alive for the weekly Thurs evening fashion show, and insane Friday and Saturday night drinking session. Pure class. Loved the rooms, the fabulous... more

The hotel is interesting, to say the least but the staff is friendly, check in and check out is so easy, and the rooms are luxuriously comfortable. I casually mentioned it was my birthday and we came back to the room after a walk around boston (the hotel is perfectly located) to find a cupcake and balloons in the room! more
