Walls of rooms are like thin cardboard. Next door neighbor snored. Rooms are so small at $400+ per night this was so overpriced. The hotel should think about serious soundproofing of rooms. The location is great but the size and quality of the room does not warrant the price paid.

I stayed at Hotel 140 for 5 nights. Took the Copley Square bus from the airport which only cost a couple of dollars & drop off point was 1 block from Hotel 140. The room was secure, clean, comfortable with private bathroom, desk, chair, luggage rack, wardrobe but a little on the small side. The view was of the a... More

The hotel's location was absolutely perfect for getting to interesting restaurants and attractions on foot. The hotel room itself, while small for the price, provided everything we needed for our stay. Although it was next to a busy street, the traffic noise was minimal and didn't interrupt our sleep.

Similar to Peter, room was the smallest I've ever been in, even by European standards. For the price, that was unacceptable in my mind. Good thing it was a business trip so it isn't coming out of my pocket! Despite the size, the place was very clean and well kept so I was OK anyway.

Clean, functional room, but no desk, no chair, and the space between the end of the bed and the TV mounted on the wall was so tight that it was almost impossible to walk by it without hitting your head. For $400 we received two clean beds and a good location but that's it. Seems steep.

Having never stayed in Boston before, it was a bit of a pin the tail on the donkey scenario. I looked at a few, but position and price plus a previous good review confirmed for us Hotel 140. We arrived 6 hours prior to check in, having flown from Maui, we were hoping at least to have our bags stored... More

I stayed in this hotel recently and paid more than $400 a night after taxes, etc... I was super disappointed with the room and the bathroom. The bed was a queen and it barely fit in the small room. The bathroom had a small corner sink(with no counter space) and the smallest shower I have ever seen. I would not... More

Wonderful location, efficient and friendly staff, clean and welcoming, but our room was the smallest room we've ever seen compared to the hefty price we paid for Boston's big graduation weekend. Also the attached breakfast cafe was terrible.

Our stay at Hotel 140 was great! The value for such a convenient location can't be overstated! The room was a typical size for being in the city but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We'll definitely be staying here again!

The old YWCA -renovated for commercial use- this hotel features basic accommodations and bare bones services in a great location at a value price. You'll have to lug your bag up the stairs to the lobby - the shower is miss-sized - a phone booth at best - but you're not spending time in the room right? The subway is... More

Dear Nancy K, Thank you for staying at Hotel 140!
