I have had two very poor experiences with the Boxer hotel but due to managements response to my original encounter decided to hold my judgement until now. I had not heard of the Boxer Hotel until November of 2013 when I received an e-mail from Groupon advising that there was a special on rooms at the Boxer. It seemed interesting... More

Stayed at The Boxer Boston 7/22-7/29/2014. In general, their staff members were friendly & helpful. There was one situation that dampened the otherwise nice experience, and that was on our final night – we returned to our room the evening of 7/28/2014 to find that our room had not been serviced at all… The bed that still had sand in... Well-run boutique hotel, well located in the heart of Boston with walking access to most of the interesting spots including the North End, USS Constitution and Charlestown. The staff are user friendly and the breakfast and coffee are excellent. If you're on gov't travel breakfast is included.

Stayed here for one night to visit my grandson. This hotel is newly remodeled/redecorated. The lobby is very clean and has a restaurant just off it. I did not have an opportunity to use the restaurant but it looked very nice. My room was small; bath small but perfectly fine. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice amenities. The bathroom had a... More

We are staying in Boston for just two nights and wanted a good hotel for a good value and centrally located. The Boxer is perfect. The rooms are very modern and sleek. Like other reviewers mentioned, they are on the small side. But we are here to see the sights, not sit in a room. My daughter, husband and I... More

BE CAREFUL staying at this hotel. I was in a situation with friends and we got stuck in the elevator. Rather than contacting an Engineer or Authorities, the maintenance personnel tried to pry the doors open with bolt cutters and screw drivers. We were then force to crawl out through a small space under our own strength, some ripping their... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights to do some sightseeing in Boston. The rooms are small but sufficient, and it is quite centrally located. We were able to walk the Freedom Trail from the hotel and it provides easy access to Faneuil Hall and sections of the old town. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the free... More

We stayed at The Boxer for one night to see some sights in Boston before traveling to another location. The hotel is very unique! Historical looking from the outside and modern inside. My family of 4 (two young kids) stayed in a King suite which was located in the very corner of the building, furthest from the elevator. The rooms... More

Hotel was great, rooms are smallish, but very nice. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant is also excellent, I recommend the lobster eggs benedict. Location is great, too! Close to TD Garden and multiple subway stations, also walkable to the waterfront.

If you don't mind doing some walking, this was a very nice hotel for what we paid for. It was about a 10 min. walk from Faneuil Hall, Hop on Hop off, Boston Cruise, Aquarium, and many other tourist sights. Along the way to Fanueil Hall is the Holocaust Memorial also. If you want to go by subway to a... More
