After an exhaustive search, as per usual, we thankfully chose to stay at the Boxer for 5 evenings last summer. Albeit the rooms were a little tight for a family of 4, they were nicely appointed and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and eager to please, which isn't always the case for smaller boutique styled hotels. For those... More

My husband have payed for me and my mother to stay in "Boxer" hotel in Boston. We had a confirmation. Because we arrived at 11 p.m they sold our room to somebody else. And they was lying to us that they have no business with lastminut.com and with travelo.com This night portlier was extremely rude and nasty. Don't recommend anyone... More

We selected The Boxer because of its central location and rates that were lower than comparable hotels in the area, and stayed for 4 nights. Many of the places we wanted to visit were within comfortable walking distance – these included boarding places for Upper Deck Trolley Tours (outside North Station) and Charles Riverboat Company (across the river at CambridgeSide... Good one night stay at the Boxer, a nice 2-mile walkabout to Fenway. But it's literally down the back from the Garden, for Celtic and Bruins fans. Very small hotel, along the lines of European style, very small. But they got a King bed in the nicely appointed room, tiny bath but it had a full tub and good hot... More

We booked a last-minute trip to Boston during the height of the summer travel season, so many hotels were sold out, and most of what was available was over $350/night. We decided to try The Boxer because of reasonable rates (reasonable for Boston). The hotel has some good points. Though the building is old, the inside is very modern and... More

I found this very last minute and stayed in the smallest room they had because they were sold out - so glad I got in because it is an amazing and friendly place to stay. I prefer the smaller boutique style hotels where you can get ahold of a front desk person and have a conversation. The rooms are very... More

a wonderful spot, nice customer service, can walk everywhere, clean, updated, quiet (ask for the 8th or 9th floor). No restaurants in the immediate area but can walk to little Italy or Fenlon square in less than 5 minutes. Lots of taxis and Uber comes right away. On metro line to airport, all in all, a very nice spot.

For a last minute hotel pick, we didn't go wrong with The Boxer Boston. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We checked in well past midnight and needed to do some quick food shopping so the front desk associate directed us to the 7/11 around the corner which had everything we needed. Upon check-out, a cab was promptly called... More

The location of this hotel is very good for TD Garden and Quincy Market both walkable. The building itself is old but you can't tell by the rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable however, very small. We heard no hallway nor elevator noise. I would stay here again especially if I were attending an event at the "Gaarden"

I stayed at the Boxer Boston with a friend for a weekend getaway. I found a great deal on a third party website. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The location was very convenient for exploring the city with easy access to Boston Common, Faneuil Hall, subways and the airport. The room was spacious with a king-sized bed, double... More
