Beautiful hotel in a great location - we loved it! The rooms were beautifully furnished, the location was excellent - close to shops and restaurants. The restaurant Precinct was great with an outdoor patio. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and accommodating.

I stayed at this hotel for four days in June 2014 with my husband, sister and brother in law. I can say that this is a wonderful hotel, great staff. The room we had was great, the bed was so comfy, I found it hard to get out of it. The staff were very helpful and the consierge went to... More

Old building, elegant exterior IMO but some would say nondescript (I insist on elegant). Interior spaces are sleek and modern. My queen room was a good size. A few blocks from Copley Square and T stations, is in a more quiet business location. Precinct restaurant was a cool place to hang out. My colleague got no trouble asking for, and... More

We booked via priceline - which made the hotel more affordable. We stayed here for 2 nights in a queen size room. The rooms were very clean! We had a fridge unlike the other reviewers. In terms of size, we had friends staying at a neighboring hotel - and our rooms were slightly larger. I think size is expected in... More

The location is great for exploring Boston, close to Copley Square and Back Bay station. Really easy to get into Boston by foot or by subway, also handy for exploring further afield. Rooms are a well portioned, coffee maker in the room and a very comfy bed. Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment, we had breakfast at Flour... More

We stayed here for three nights in January 2014 and loved it. It was conveniently located and the staff were really friendly and very helpful. The room we had was quite big compared to some other US city locations and was very clean and well presented. Despite the cold outside the hotel was warm and cosy and we really enjoyed... More

We stayed at Loews for 3 nights at the beginning of June, we were allowed to check in early as we arrived about 1pm. The room was a good size with nice comfy bed and large bathroom. I liked the fact they gave you proper milk cartons rather than the milk power in the rooms, and I loved the wide... More

This hotel provided all you can ask for - clean, comfortable and spacious rooms in the heart of a major city. The staff bent over backwards to make everything just so. The valet parking is a bit pricey ($45 a night) and is off site so you might consider finding one of the several garages close by; and the T... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It's not often that a hotel embodies all that a city stands for, but the Loews Boston is just that place. Housed in the stately limestone building that was once home to the Boston Police Headquarters, our recently renovated boutique property is-like the city of Boston itself-a unique and unforgettable blend of historic charm, urbane sophistication and authentic New England hospitality. Our exclusive Back Bay location, which is ideally situated between three of Boston's hottest neighborhoods-the South End, the Theater District and the Back Bay-puts you in the heart of all that Boston has to offer, with everything you want to see or experience, including the shopping on Newbury Street, just moments away. If you are in town for an event at one of Boston's many colleges and universities, we offer effortless access to the campuses of Boston University, Boston College, Harvard, Northeastern, Emerson and Tufts Medical School, to name just a few. Our 225 spacious guestrooms, two luxury suites and an expansive Presidential Suite have been freshly renovated and bring you the ultimate in modern convenience and comfort. And our recently updated 1,024-square-foot Harrison Room-with its vaulted, 20-foot cathedral ceilings and crystal chandelier-is an unparalleled event space and the perfect location for your next intimate gathering. ... more   less
