This is my second stay in a hostel and the first time I have ever felt the need to write a review. The architecture and history are beautiful, staff are generous and helpful, and the area is wonderfully situated and walkable. I am sure to return. I am also impressed with the LEED certification.

This is the best youth hostel that I've ever stayed. Great location, fantastic staff, clean rooms and facility. I don't think it's possible to find another place of a similar price like this in download Boston. Aaron Miller, their guest service, was particularly helpful. He would ask around during breakfast time and offered valuable information and answers to any questions... More

Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Good security measures, clean, and privacy. I stayed in a 4 person dorm. The bunk had its own light and power outlets. You had a locker, but need to bring your own lock. There was a shared (single) bathroom a few feet away in the hall, and many others around... More

My husband and I stayed here in one of the private rooms, overall it was was very clean, staff friendly and helpful, and had everything you needed (well stocked kitchen, laundry, games area, computer area, etc.). Yes it is pricey for a hostel, but Boston is incredibly expensive. For the location and to get a clean and private room, I... More

Friendly staff and very well organized hostel. It's clean, comfortable and the location is perfect, easy access to public transportation. High standard hostel with an amazing atmosphere. There are many bathrooms in each floor which are cleaned every morning. Great benefit-cost ratio.

I was going to Boston and since most accommodation was booked already or very expensive i have decided to book this hostel. The hostel is very well organized and has high standards. The price is above the average Hostel price but you get a place to stay very comfortable, with a staff very friendly, with activities everyday, breakfast included, you... More

I'd rank Boston Hostelling International in the top 4 hostels I've stayed at around the world. It's in a fantastic location in Chinatown, very easily accessible via public transport and close to a huge array of restaurants, bars & facilities. The hostel has a bright, sociable atmosphere with daily activities organised like pub crawls and walking tours. I was impressed... More

This was the best hostel I stayed in while traveling. I was in a 4 bed dorm. My bed was comfortable. There are large lockers in between the bunks which gives a bit of privacy. There is also a little cubby hole with a light and plug beside your bed. The hostel is clean and colourful. Staff were friendly and... More

stayed here 4 nights in a 6 bedded room ( 3 bunks ) .. the 6 or 8 individual bathrooms on floor were great with each a shower but, the bathroom doors are heavy fire doors and you can hear each time they are opened and closed all night long... so bring ear plugs. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, bagels,... More

This is a very modern hostel more like a hotel in quality. They offer free wifi and a great free breakfast. The location is near Chinatown so close to the metro and also lots of restaurants. It is also walking distance from South Station.
