Great place to stay in the North end, Everything is in walking distance. There is a lot of stairs and no elevator but we came prepared for that and packed light. I would stay there again just for the location.

We were there unbeknown to us in the middle of an ownership change which hopefully portends an up tick in the stay. Our stay is best described as an adult hostel. Each floor, there are 5 with three used for guests, has a kitchen with the fridge stocked with breakfast stuff, bagels, bread, milk, juice, coffee, tea and various frozen... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your feedback! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay with us in the North end. It was unfortunate that the ownership changed happened right in the middle of your stay but we did our best to make sure our guests were not inconvenienced by the change. We are still in the process... More

in boston it is all about location and this is the perfect place on the north end. knowing we were on the 4th floor, we packed light for the overnite stay....no elevators! room was large, clean, included things to do and see in boston. the common area, shared with the other 4th floor suite, was fully stocked with our breakfast... The location is very convenient. Loads of restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance. Our room was on the 4th floor with our own in-suite bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean. There is a self-service breakfast with a refrigerator and coffee and tea service in the shared kitchen. Overall, the experience was positive.

This inn is perfectly located, and it could be exceptional with some refurbishing and cleaning. There are no elevators so we elected to take the second floor room. The floor is a dark green plush carpet that likely has not been cleaned in years. The woodwork around doors is noticeably dirty, and the floor next to the bathroom sink had... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your feedback. I am glad you enjoyed the location. I do apologize for the dust in your bathroom. The floors in the bathroom are cleaned between guests including washing. We do tend to forget about the tiny spot between the bathtub and the sink since no one can actually walk there and it... We stayed in Boston for 3 nights, and enjoyed a comfortable stay at La Cappella. It is located in a little street off the main road in Little Italy, a short walk from the subway and sights. Our room was on the 4th floor, just off from the shared kitchen, with our own designated bathroom across the hallway. The kitchen... More

We were 2 couples traveling together and we loved having the 4th floor all to ourselves. We had 2 clean and comfortable rooms, a king and a queen, with a shared kitchen which was well stocked with breakfast items. Excellent location in the north end close to historic sites and, of course, umpteen Italian restaurants. We would definitely stay here... More

Overall a good experience. Good location in Boston's North End. Large rooms that really should be up dated -- a least a degree or so -- especially for the price. The rooms are on the 4th and 5th floor with no elevator! So it is not for everyone. The real disappointment was the lack of personal contact from the owner... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing to stay with us. I am glad you enjoyed the location. I am sorry you were disappointed in the service, or lack thereof. The owner actually lives in the building, but is not always in the building. There is someone available at all times if not in person, by phone should anyone have questions.... More

We stayed on the 5th floor - our second visit in four years. Location really is superb - 30 mins from Fenway Park and Museum of fine Arts (longer in rush hour, as Green Line can be slow). Also 10 minutes walk from boat service to Boston Harbor Islands etc. And of course very close to the Freedom Trial and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for an overnighter and it was great! We were in the fifth floor room with the detached bathroom (still private) and it was quite nice. Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
