My wife and I stayed here when we visited to celebrate our anniversary and see the fireworks on the 4th of July. The room on the top floor was very comfortable and quiet. It was a very easy walk to the Esplanade and Boston Common. The breakfast was not memorable - definitely a continental breakfast. The staff was polite and... More

My husband and I stayed at The College Club for five nights in June 2015 and would definitely stay again . The B&B is located in a residential area about 1/2 block west of Boston Public Gardens (the Taj is at Gardens end of the block), one street parallel to Newbury, and about 2 blocks from the Arlington Station on... My wife and I spent 4 nights in the Connecticut room which is huge and very well presented. We normally stay in Cambridge, but the CCofB is perfectly situated on the edge of Boston Common and is a short walk into all the amenities of downtown and sights such as Copley, Prudential and Fenway Park. The building is a traditional... More

I went to Boston with my daughter to tour Boston University and Northeastern. Traveling alone with her made me just a bit uneasy, but the College Club of Boston was in a beautiful neighborhood steps from Boston Common, Newbury Street shopping, and the T. We always felt very safe and secure. The rooms were a very good size, clean, and... More

Aside from a great location, clean rooms, good rates and so on- the building is super neat and full of history. Staff was nice, food was fine and the shared bathroom was never an issue. Really, I slept here and that's it; too much to do around town. The only thing I worried about was making noise walking around on... More

I had a wonderful stay at The College Club in Boston. The single room was clean and comfortable. The location is great and the staff was very friendly yet not intrusive. The bathroom was clean and it was no problem sharing with another single room. It kind of reminded me of some boutique hotels that I have stayed in Europe.... More

Beautiful Victorian in a great location on one of the loveliest streets in the city. No TV, which didn't bother us since by the time we got in each night we showered, read a bit and went to bed. No A/C which was also okay, but summer months I can imagine would be brutal. Breakfast was simple, enough to get... More

This is a lovely old home with large rooms decorated with specific colleges in mind. The catering of our family reunion was perfect in the large ballroom. We shared lots of family time in the dining room. The staff was very accomodating for our needs. We hope we can stay there again.

We stayed in this great place for 3 nights. Our room was very large and furnished in a wonderful traditional style. Plenty of space for everything, with good sized en suite shower and also a walk in closet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No tea facilities in room, but coffee and tea (and wonderful homemade cookies) always available in... More
