The property is very pretty antique furniture gorgeous old brownstone rooms are spacious staff is extremely accommodating the only thing I think they could improve on is the coffee there is however a Nespresso cafe two blocks away on Newbury Street that was a pleasure to go to for the price point and the comfortable accommodations I would definitely stay... We loved the location, one block off of Newbury St. The turn of the century decor was charming and well maintained. The room and the hotel was very clean and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to all the sights. We will be coming back. - Bill & Becky

My sister and I spent 3 nights at The College Club in Boston and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This is an old building located within walking distance to parks and the Freedom Trail. The neighborhood is lovely, with many old, well kept homes and a park across the street used by joggers and walkers, plus benches for people watching.... More

I was searching for something outside of the typical hotel for a weekend trip to Boston and came across The College Club of Boston. It wasn't the least expensive option but truthfully, accommodations in the city book fast over the summer and I wanted somewhere to stay which was well located. I couldn't have picked a better place. I was... More

The College Club is beautiful. Situated on the tree-lined Commonwealth Avenue, the location is amazing. It's only one street behind bustling Newbury Street but it's so peaceful and quiet. If you like to jog, please bring along your running shoes! I was so envious looking at the joggers :D Service was minimal but adequate. As it is not a real... More

My wife and I stayed here when we visited to celebrate our anniversary and see the fireworks on the 4th of July. The room on the top floor was very comfortable and quiet. It was a very easy walk to the Esplanade and Boston Common. The breakfast was not memorable - definitely a continental breakfast. The staff was polite and... More

My husband and I stayed at The College Club for five nights in June 2015 and would definitely stay again . The B&B is located in a residential area about 1/2 block west of Boston Public Gardens (the Taj is at Gardens end of the block), one street parallel to Newbury, and about 2 blocks from the Arlington Station on... My wife and I spent 4 nights in the Connecticut room which is huge and very well presented. We normally stay in Cambridge, but the CCofB is perfectly situated on the edge of Boston Common and is a short walk into all the amenities of downtown and sights such as Copley, Prudential and Fenway Park. The building is a traditional... More

I went to Boston with my daughter to tour Boston University and Northeastern. Traveling alone with her made me just a bit uneasy, but the College Club of Boston was in a beautiful neighborhood steps from Boston Common, Newbury Street shopping, and the T. We always felt very safe and secure. The rooms were a very good size, clean, and... More

Aside from a great location, clean rooms, good rates and so on- the building is super neat and full of history. Staff was nice, food was fine and the shared bathroom was never an issue. Really, I slept here and that's it; too much to do around town. The only thing I worried about was making noise walking around on... More
