We stayed here for just one night, found the staff helpful, room was big and clean, location very central, breakfast was rather basic (given the price). I'd recommend The College Club of Boston to anyone visiting this city.

We had the best room in the house, large, airy, and quiet BUT the renovated bathroom had a shower that dribbled a little water and took a long time to get hot. Location is excellent but the small window air conditioner barely does the job and is very noisy.

So I wasn't looking for a B&B, just a hotel and found this place. I get to my room and the window AC unit isn't on (no central air) and it's hot and muggy. I would have expected the customer service to turn on the AC to my room prior to my arrival at 7pm - particularly from a" B&B".... More

I went here in December 2012, in fact I got married here. We travelled from Scotland and met up with 6 American friends and had a intimate wedding which was looking over the city of Boston, quite beautiful. The good was beautiful and the service excellent. We got some beautiful photos with a big Christmas tree and across the road.... More

For years I have been looking for a place to stay in Boston that is near the Commons/Public Gardens, is classic Boston, and affordable. I finally found it with the College Club of Boston. It is a four story brownstone (with elevator) a block off the Public Gardens on Commonwealth Ave which is one of the most beautiful streets in... More

Stayed for business recently at College Club. Very well located. Good service. Breakfast was somewhat unappealing. Wi-fi was very slow. Bed was not very comfortable. In this historic house perhaps are from a previous century.

We recently had a wonderful stay at the College Club in March. I seriously could not fault our experience - except that the lighting in the room is minimal. Boston seems to be quite an expensive city for accommodation, but the College Club was one of the most affordable options available. It is very small with only eleven guest rooms.... More

We enjoyed a three night stay in this elegant brownstone B&B in this scenic and convenient location in Boston. We had chosen a double with bath (singles use a bath shared with two rooms) and found ourselves in a large, high ceilinged room, the Smith Room, which was decorated in pale yellow and blue toile. The white marble fireplace was... More

It is not far from the city centre - a short walk away across the common. I had a very interesting bedrooms, but the lighting could have been better. The breakfast was adequate. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had breakfast and lunch over several days and the food was fantastic. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful! The weather sucked, but that isn't under the control of management. I look forward to staying there again.
