I stayed here because it was bundled with a Travelocity discount, but next time it will be my destination. Charming, impeccably decorated, and comfortable. I stayed in the Wheelock room (427) which was small - with a single bed - but it was sunny, quiet, warm and comfortable. Every detail, from the furnishings to the books and other memorabilia, is... This B&B was a fantastic choice for my business trip to Boston! The price was right and my bedroom (Boston University) was incredible. It was huge, the king size bed was comfortable, it was warm (the crazy winter storm was coming through Boston while I was there!) and my private bathroom was beautiful. I can't rave about this B&B enough!... More

I like to stay in a place where I can feel every table, chair or decoration has been put there for a reason. That thought and empathy went into decorating the place. I was not disappointed by this B&B. It is located in a wonderful Avenue of old brownstones yet near restaurants and transportation. I have to admit it might... More

I was in Boston for a job interview and felt like I got a more accurate picture of living in Boston than I would have staying at a hotel. It was conveniently located near public transportation. Breakfast was simple, but reliable. One must arrange for late key pick-up in advance if arriving late. I would definitely stay there again!

This is a very nice establishment with good bedrooms, lots of antiques and reproductions, and a variety of breakfast choices. I was in a single room and shared the hall bathroom and shower with another single down the hall. Lovely fluffy robes for traveling the hall at night. This location would be best for couples, business travelers, friends or solos.... More

Awesome hotel! I will be back again. Quiet and located in downtown Boston. Just minutes away from everything. Room was absolutely lovely and beautifully furnished. No tv which I enjoyed because it made for a very quiet hotel. Stay here! Lovely.

Usually when I travel from NYC to visit my daughters in Cambridge I stay in a motel convenient to the highway. I rarely do this as I enjoy a great place to stay where the philosophy and practices demonstrate they know how to be a great "inn keeper" and have perceived the needs of appreciative guests. The beautiful brownstone is... More

Just came back from a birthday weekend in Boston - what a beautiful city! So much to see and do. Contrary to what others have said, I found the bed in room 321 (the Connecticut Room) to be quite comfy. Yes, the shower is low flow but is this really a deal breaker? For me, no. The B&B chooses to... More

My friend and I stayed at the College Club in late September and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had front-facing single rooms on different floors which were quite adequate in size for one person and were charmingly furnished. We shared a very nice bathroom with another single room on our floor. There was quite a lot of traffic on Commonwealth Avenue... More

My wife and I stayed for four nights at end of September and explored Boston which we found very interesting from an Englishman's perspective. The B&B is a very good location as a base for exploring or shopping and in the evening there are many nearby restaurants. We stayed in room 321 Connecticut which is quite large and has en... More
