The staff was consistently friendly, professional, and took pride in their work. Always made my 2 month stay very warm and comfortable. Housekeeping went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and added nice touches in their service that I noticed. They were very thorough unlike other Residence Inns. Food service folks were so friendly, helpful, and personable.... More

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! We stayed for four nights with our children (ages 9 and 6). The front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff running that area went above and beyond, especially Luis. Our room was very clean upon arrival and housekeeping did an awesome job with the... More

We stayed 1 night at the Residence Inn. Check in was fast, friendly and easy. Tianna was very personable at the front desk, welcomed us and got us checked in quickly. Our room overlooked the Zakim Bridge and was a gorgeous sight at sunset. When we arrived back at our room after an evening on the town, there was a... More

Stayed here one night to catch an early flight from Boston Logan the next day Staff was friendly and welcoming upon check in, room was clean and spacious. Our room faced the road however on the 7th floor we had no problem with noise. We did notice that light pollution could be a problem as it keeps your whole room... More

Family of five stayed for 3 nights. Beds comfortable including sofa bed and rollaway. Lovely ten minute walk through historical district to grocery store. Short walk across bridge to TD Gardens and the Italian restaurant district. Boston trolley stop just up the road from the hotel which at the time of year we were there gave us three days rides... Good Quality rooms with plenty of amenities for a low price. Its also good to note its one of the only hotels in the area with affordable rooms that hold more then 2 adults. The only negative was parking. It was a bit confusing and expensive. The hotel has a few free spaces but they only have about 10 for... More

It's great to hear we had everything you needed for a lovely stay! Many of our guests do choose to valet park due to the convenience, but we do regret that it was challenging to find self parking. Thank you, and we would love to welcome you back for another stay the next time your travels take you to Boston! More

Well located in Charles Town, accesible to subway a few blocks. A couple of Historical places very near. The Service is good. Clean rooms that have all the facilities to cook your own food. The breakfast is excellent. Internet quality is good. It has gym and pool. Very nice facilities.

Stayed here 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday night and it was great, room, proximity to TD garden is great! The only thing that I would say that is bad is that you have to pay for parking to stay overnight. You can either pay $45 a night to stay to Valet with the hotel or you can pay... More

Staying in Charlestown

Neighborhood Profile
Charlestown
Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit. Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge from the North End or take the scenic water locks to Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll down cute Main street, wandering up the windy residential streets to Monument Square, where you can learn about the city’s history along with a great view of Boston at the Bunker Hill Monument. While it’s not a huge area, there are some excellent restaurants. Find your way to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is a developing area with lots of condos and an additional site for Massachusetts General Hospital research centers. Here you will also find the USS Constitution Museum. After you’re done, hop on an MBTA ferry at the dock on Baxter street and zip on over to Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium.
