This reminded me of a college boarding house. I expected this going in, and it was a good place to crash for the night when I was in Boston. The staff was friendly. It was a short walk to the train to take downtown.

Horrid bedroom, thin pillows, dirty, and the most foulest ,mouldiest ,revolting shared bathroom i think we have EVER come across. And to think we paid more for this room than any other accomodation per night than any American or Canadian accomodation on our whole trip! I still have nightmares thinking about this place and how ripped off we were. Boston... More

With the exception of the WiFi, which is actually quite good, nothing in this place works. We ended up having a good laugh, but that's only because if we weren't laughing we'd be crying. It's like staying in a haunted mansion, except the mansion is haunted by poverty instead of ghosts.

I stayed at this place in August 2015 due to a last minute booking when everything else was booked out with no availability. I was put in a tiny little room in the loft of the monstrous old derelict looking house down the street from the listed property #23 Farrington. Honestly the house looks and feels haunted. My room was... More

The phone and lobby staff were friendly and helpful. That was the best part. The entry hall was dingy and was badly in need of being vacuumed. The "single with private bath" was relatively large with a kitchenette and sitting room separate from the bed-room. But there were so many little things that could have been done to make the... Odd. Called in to make a same-day reservation. When we arrived we were sent over to another building where the apartment was, not in the building advertised, #23 Farrington. At first, apartment seemed large and accommodating, perhaps a bit simple, but with full kitchen and good for the price - special deal at $140 (regular price $250). However, within minutes... More

Don't ever think about staying there. If you can pay a little bit more, do it, it's worth it! I've been staying in very cheap hotels for the last month and I can stand almost everything but this place is horrible, the worst hotel ever! First, we took almost 20 minutes to open the room's door, because everything is so... More

The hostel was clean and the location was close to the Green subway line B in a nice enough neighborhood with plenty of places to eat. All of the people staying on the same floor share a single bathroom. There were 2 dressers, a full length mirror, and a TV int he room, but no kitchen, simply a microwave and... More

My girlfriend and I took a random trip to Boston out of the blue. We went for Columbus Day weekend so most hotels were sold out or minimum $300 for one night so we found the Farrington Inn. It was the cheapest possible deal at $200 for the night. Upon arrival and entering I felt like we were in the... More
