It's a lovely hotel but I guess I am spoiled. Nothing really stood out to make it special. Though the bellman and front desk were very professional and friendly. The rooms were nice, small but nice. Nothing to make you say "Wow - I'm a the Ritz". I'd rather stay at the Hotel Commonwealth or The Elliott. I LOVE both... More

I have never stayed in a "bad" Ritz, but this is one of the best. Understated contemporary elegance underscores the theme of supportive comfort at every turn. The decor of the rooms is functional and excellent. The hotel staff exudes subtle comfort to the guests at every turn, ranging from greeting the guests by name, when appropriate, to responding to... We had a nice weekend stay at the Ritz. I was on a conference in which my room was paid for so I can't comment on the value. The Ritz is well located, though it can be a little difficult to find initially. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. They are not overly large but they are adequate. The lobby... More

Thanks to the amazing staff at this hotel who made our stay so memorable. From the moment we arrived - check-in, orientation, to the amazing concierge Ryan - nothing was too much trouble and there was always an element of pleasant surprise. Rooms were comfortable, bathroom spacious and one of the best hotel showers ever. Thank you Ritz Carlton for... More

a very old hotel but keeps it's age well. now very update and modern with great looks. A history that goes way back. You will enjoy staying here. We only go to a few hotels in the area and this is also one of our top choices. Fine food and drink and very clean this location is one of the... More

Again served as a great base for my wife's and my activities in the city. The staff was very accommodating, and Thomas who helped check me in was very helpful smoothing out my multiple reservations for my stay. I appreciate the personal approach of the staff, and they do a good job making every guest feel valued. It was another... More

After reading a few reviews, we also were moved from the Four Seasons to the Ritz-Carlton. No problem with us. Service was unbelievable. Always addressed by Mr. & Mrs. from everyone from the housekeeper to the front desk. Location was great. Chinatown, Boston Common, Quincy Market all within walking distance. You could pick up the Freedom Trail within a couple... More

I stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a business trip in June 2015. From the time I was greeted at the door until I walked out the door I was treated wonderfully. The door man I wish I could remember his name was charming. The checkin process while my room was not ready as I arrived early, had a rush... More

RC Boston Common is perfect for the common, North End, Theatre district, Fenway and the best parts of the city. Great rooms, and all that you would expect from a Ritz property. Staff is friendly, helpful and has the usual RC attitude. Well worth the money.

Since the Four Seasons overbooked and we were on the bottom of the priority totem pole, we got kicked to the curb and sent to the Ritz-Carlton......I know, of all the problems in the world, I complaining about this petty crap. Wow.....what an upgrade. Service, as expected, was top rate, great amenities, and nice/modern rooms. Best of all was location.... More
