I'm a global business executive. Stayed at Ritz Carlton Boston Common for a business trip last week. Certainly was not "Ladies and Gentleman Serving Ladies and Gentlemen.' Non-welcome from icy, rude, abrasive, condescending front desk lady Sam; had to ask where the elevator is for way to my room; hotel staff stands and points to give directions like you're in... More

I've been staying at the Ritz Boston Common since shortly after it opened in early 2000's. Most recent stays were Sept. and November '13 and January '14. The hotel has a very convenient location one block off the Common and within easy walking distance of Newbury St., the North End and waterfront. The rooms are comfortable although some are smallish... More

The Ritz-Carlton Boston Common Property is an excellent hotel with similar service. The location was impressive as was the design and layout of the interior, up to par with other Ritz properties. The price was a lit the steep however. Overall, a solid 4/5.

The service we received in the club lounge far exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at many Ritz properties are always impressed with the hospitality but the staff they have managing and working in this club are amazing. Blanchelle Guzman went above and beyond to take care of us and her staff were all wonderful. Kelly, Elaine and Geovanni all... More

I liked this property more than I thought I would. On the upside, the staff was very welcoming and really helpful. I arrived early and they accommodated my early check in without any issues. The rooms are nicely sized and the bathroom had modern amenities with a separate bath and shower. The room was also very clean and I had... More

What a gorgeous property. Was in and out for a roadshow so little time to fully experience the hotel but staff was amazing and welcoming and the room was beautifully furnished. Attended a dinner function - outstanding food and service. All around a wonderful 24 hours in boston.

We just returned from a wonderful stay in Boston and all the staff at the Ritz helped to make it great. Location is GREAT, nearby everything. We traveled with two little children and it was amazing that they were received with a present and an activity booklet which they really enjoyed (even more when they learned that after completing a... i have stayed at many 5 star hotels and many ritz carltons, unfortunately, this particular one is perhaps 2-3 star only. there is no table service in the lobby/ bar until after 5 pm, you have to walk to an ajoining restuarant and get the drinks/ food yourself, my room was bland with poor quality furnishings including a big tear... This Ritz Carlton is a solid hotel. The rooms are pretty standard. I have found them to be quiet and good for sleeping. The doormen are very nice. Room service is not the best, either in terms of food or service. It is nice to be so close to the park.

Just off the Park, and nearby to everything, you won't do better than the R-C in any aspect. Super staff, excellent accoms, a very nice but unpretentious restaurant on the premises and a fine lobby bar. The staff from front desk to concierge, to bell persons to housekeeping couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Forget the 4 Seasons or any... More
