Let's start with the slightly disappointing: access is up a few steeper than normal flights of stairs and so may involve some heavy lifting if you have a suitcase etc. The cost of the room, despite what it said on hostelworld.com was actually 10 dollars more because of a tax that hostelworld should have added in but didn't. But that's... More

I stayed here twice, for a total of three nights, at the start and end of a two week trip around the USA. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially considering that due to our flights we arrived late at night both times. Wi-fi works like a charm, breakfast is good. It was the cheapest room we could find in Boston... More

Firstly, the prices for hostels & cheap hotels is quite expensive in the city centre of Boston. Compared to other hostels we have stayed in during our time in the USA this seemed a bit pricey for a dorm room but reasonable for Boston. The reception staff were pleasant and free wifi is available in the lobby areas. Free breakfast... More

In Boston, there isn't a lot of hostels to choose from. Their location is not too far away from downtown Boston (10 minutes walk), and is easy to find from the Metro station. Only concern is that it seems to be in an area where there is a lot of homeless people, so try to avoid the local 7-eleven (they... More

Though i had a bit of difficulty finding the spot , but was relief after short search especially with the 1 degree weather and snow. It was a warm and cozy hostel just like its name "Friend Street" , i had a wonderful days stay ,... More

they are excellent at it. I sought a private room at this facility. None were available. Due to my snoring I try to save others. I asked to use the common area computer for a few minutes to make other arrangements. After I received approval from staff there was a shift change. The new employee told me I had 3... More

The service is okey. Is small place. I suggest bigger showers and toilet rooms. The whower room is very reduce. The room... More

Warm, comfortable and clean. Very well located, Boston is an easy city to walk about. Staff were friendly, but the manager could do with cheering up. Next to TD Garden, the basketball and Ice hockey stadium, brilliant atmosphere. A heads up though, no stove, only a microwave and rice cooker. Breakfast is light but good, what you'd expect from a...
