I can't remember if I booked this room through another agency or directly with the hotel but when I tried to cancel the booking about a week in advance I couldn't. I have never experienced this before as usually you can cancel up until the day before/of check in. It was quite hard to contact them to ask to cancel... More

Hotel was borderline between 2 and 3 grade. The difference was the staff. They were friendly, helpful and courteous. Yes, hotel is old, noisy due to traffic and out of the way. However, price was right. The Chinese restaurant in the first floor had breakfast service. Breakfast was decent at a good value. We did not have dinner at the... More

When I booked the room on-line, I asked for a room on the opposite side of traffic. When I got to motel, the clerk even verified that I did not want room on traffic side, so where did he put me, on the side with the traffic. Also the room was opposite the elevator doors which made noise all night... More

First, whenever I step into a hotel room that is over powering with air freshener, something is up! This hotel was just a run down, awful place! INCHES of dust accumulated in rhe bathroom air vent (can anyone say fire hazard?) Stains and DNA on the carpet, the bedding and the walls. Bathroom drop ceiling panels mis aligned, graffiti on... I booked a room for July and had to cancel it. I cancelled two days before and fully expected the matter to be closed until I found a charge on my bill for $195. I called American Express to dispute, informing them I cancelled the reservation prior to the required time, and days Inn refused to remove the charge. They... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in September. Nice large room overlooking the river. Bus and subway trip in to Boston took about 1/2 hour. 20 minute walk into Cambridge. Good motel. Would recommend especially if you have time getting in and out of Boston.
