We really enjoyed staying in the ground floor room with the king size bed. Although not a traditional B&B where you have breakfast in a dining room with the other guests, we found the place fit all of our needs. The room was very comfortable, and the little things like excellent thick towels and robes, and the charming china and... More

The B&B was the best out of town stay I have ever had. Perfect for either a business traveler or vacationer. Conveniently located to transit, dining, entertainment and conferencing. The accommodations are very luxurious yet comfortable. I felt like it was my own home only it came with a breakfast I did not have to cook. The hostess accommodated my... More

We stayed in the basement room with the private entrance and king bed. My Boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days at the end of March and loved this quaint B&B. We met the owner for check in and she was a delight and made us feel very welcome. She was very adamant about contacting if we should need... More

My husband and I, and four kids, spent a winter weekend at Montgomery Place, attending a wedding. The location was perfect, with lots of kid-friendly cafes and restaurants nearby. We had the king room and the two auxiliary rooms upstairs for the 4 kids. The auxiliary rooms were perfect for kids, from the loft bed down to the great selection... More

This was a fantastic place to stay for a long weekend in Boston. We stayed in the king bed suite and found it very comfortable and cozily furnished. The room itself--located on a lower floor of the house--has lots of natural light and its own entrance, which is great for privacy. The breakfasts, tea, and coffee were delicious and filling,... I recently stayed here during an interview at Boston University School of Medicine, and was absolutely impressed with Montgomery Place! The owners are friendly, professional, and were great about early check-in and bag-storage. The room itself (we stayed in the King Suite) was homey, warm, beautiful, and comfortable, with every amenity you'd need. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious,... More

Booked Montgomery Place through flipkey.com, and was very happy with my stay! Located in a quaint brownstone on a quiet residential street in the South End neighborhood. We stayed in room #2 which has a queen bed, kitchenette, and private bath. The bed was very comfortable, and had very nice pillows and linens. The shower had plenty of hot water... More

We loved the South End location close to "T" and restaurants, the ambiance, spaciousness, antiques, and helpfulness of the hosts. It felt as if we were visiting friends in Boston. Definitely worth the B & B Association's paperwork.

I stayed in Room 1 of Montgomery Place last week -- we were trying to avoid stairs for my 75-year-old mom. This suite is four steps below grade with a very secure private entrance and architectural window grills (for security). There were cheery pumpkins on the steps to greet us, we were allowed to drop off luggage hours before check-in... More

Montgomery Place is a traditional Brownstone in a wonderful location, 10 minute walk from the T [which is the local subway] in one direction and a few minutes’ walk in the other direction was a multitude of restaurants. We stayed in the room that did not offer breakfast; however the owners do provide coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, yogurt and... More
