We stayed at Montgomery Place for two nights in a lovely room with beautiful moulding in a fantastically central location. Even though it was summer, the room was plenty cool from using the overhead fan, however there was also the option of air conditioning if necessary. This establishment has anticipated everything one might need while staying in a bed and... More

We stayed in the room slightly below street level with our one year old and felt so taken care of. They had a pack n play and small box of toys for him, which really helped entertain him when we were hanging out in the room. The breakfast was delicious and our one year old even got his own cup... My husband and I stayed in room one for two nights. It is a lovely room, very comfortable, and the breakfasts are delightful (hard boiled eggs, muffins, yogurt, lots of fresh fruit, coffee, juice, tea, granola, honey, jam). The location is convenient to Tremont street, which has restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities. Kathe, the owner, has provided many nice... More

After a very sketchy stay at another B & B I was very leery of staying in a south end brownstone. I was very pleasantly surprised. The accomodations were charming, clean and thoughtfully provisioned. The location was great and the price was right. Only negative was paying $30/day for parking at a garage about 2 blocks away. That comes with... More

I checked into Montgomery Place for business in Boston for 2 days. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, well-priced and very well located. The owner, Kathy, was outstanding and the ease and convenience of coming and going was excellent, as well as all the tiny little amenities that they thought of in the room. It was a 5 minute walk to... More

Couldn't find a hotel in Boston, but happened across this B&B. Was far less expensive than any hotel I could have found in the area anyway. Enjoyed the convenience of the location. Quiet building. Fridge and cabinet were stocked with some simple items. Would stay again.

I was generally not happy with the accommodation. We had the room with an adjoining bathroom. The lock to the hall door on the bathroom didn't work properly. It was hard to wash or shave at the sink because of the cabinet overhead. The kitchen fridge couldn't be opened properly because there wasn't enough room. The room was very hot... More

We are so sorry this guest was disappointed in our accommodations and are quire perplexed at this guest's review issues. The lock on the bathroom door is a high quality lock from Restoration Hardware. We checked it and found it working properly. We do not see that the refrigerator is hard to open. There is no cabinet over the mirror... More

Wow. What a week we spent there. We were in Boston for our Daughter's wedding at Trinity church, and spent the last few days for the preparation of the wedding in Boston. We booked all the rooms for our other children, including my oldest daughter with her three young children and her in law's who we coming from France. Kate,... More

I stayed at Montgomery Place with two friends for a conference held at the Copley Marriot. This place was much more comfortable than had we stayed at the conference venue. Cozy beds, plenty of space, great breakfast (and they'll even make it super early if you need to). I recommend the same to conference-goers that want to be able to... More

We stayed in room 2 for 3 nights and recommend it! Great location. The room had a good size, was very clean. Nice bathroom too. Lisa made our stay even better by stocking the kitchen with basics. So nice to be able to enjoy a coffee without having to go to a shop!
