This was our second stay on Green Turtle. You can believe every one of the glowing reviews. Jon and Karen are fabulous hosts who have a great attention to detail. The rooms/yachts are stocked with all sorts of treats. The sheets and towels are first class. You've got parking right on the pier. The view of the city is gorgeous.... More

If you´re looking for city noise, stress and impersonal service, don´t go to Green Turtle Floating B&B. This is the place to stay when you´re in Boston, there is no other alternative. The sweetest, most relaxed hosts and the see will rock you to sleep in wonderful beds. Stay a few days on Green Turtle and you will have trouble... More

My husband and I spent our first night in Boston staying at the Green Turtle. We were also on our honeymoon. The place was awesome!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. You have your own little dock, and the view is to die for. The room was clean, neat, and the owners, Jon and Karen were so very... More

We spent our 23rd anniversary at the Green Turtle and it will go in the history books as one of our favorite getaways of all time! Can't think of one thing to complain about! We were impressed by all the amenities and the awesome owners: Jon and Karen. They truly go out of their way to make sure you have... More

Out of all our trips, this was one of our favorite places to stay! We stayed in the right room of Green Turtle I and it was amazing. The room is super clean and it came with free snacks and drinks. There is a refrigerator and extra sink in the bedroom, which was nice since you did not have to... More

We stayed on Green Turtle III again and had a fantastic weekend. Boston weather threw us a curveball so we had heat on one day and air conditioning the next day. The boat was a comfortable temperature regardless of what Mother nature was doing outside. Jon and Karen helped us to understand our best transportation options as well as providing... More

If you are looking for paradise in Boston, you can find it at the Floating Green Turtle. Spotlessly clean accommodations are either a houseboat or yacht. Both are tastefully decorated and include fine linens and plush towels. The innkeepers, Karen and Jon, have worked hard to create an atmosphere of total relaxation with their attention to detail. There is a... More

I stayed here with two friends toward the end of May during a cross country trip. We voted this our most preferred accommodation! Now that I have discovered the Green Turtle B&B, I would not consider staying anywhere else in Boston. The cabins are very comfortable with all amenities. It's like having a two bedrooms - two baths suite at... More

There are so many excellent reviews that it is hard to add to what has been said. We live within an hour of Boston but staying at Green Turtle feels like you are a million miles away. The views are breathtaking and you have to relax in this beautiful spot. We have told everyone how wonderful our experience was so... More

My husband and I were given a gift certificate to The Green Turtle for Christmas to use as a weekend getaway. I booked it early in January for Memorial day weekend, knowing it would be a beautiful time of year to be there. Despite the cold rainy weather (one day never got above 50 degrees!) we had a lovely time... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Green Turtle is a floating bed and breakfast as luxurious as it is unique. Set in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard on Boston Harbor, the Green Turtle offers an expansive view of the Boston skyline along with the comfort and amenities of a modern bed and breakfast. The USS Constitution (Old Ironsides), the Bunker Hill Monument and the Freedom Trail are a short walk away. You can take the water ferry to numerous points along the waterfront. There are dining choices from bagels to world famous dining. The Green Turtle houseboat and yachts were designed for comfort above all and the only reminder you are floating in Boston Harbor is the sound of the gulls, motion of the sea and the reflection of the ocean dancing on the ceiling. It is delightful starting your day sipping coffee or enjoying a cold beverage after a day of sightseeing while sitting on your dock chairs or aft deck watching the harbor traffic and city skyline. The Green Turtle Floating Bed and Breakfast offers 3 boat choices. The Green Turtle I is a houseboat offering two private and separate suites and each has 1 queen sized bed with luxury linens. Each suite(Loggerhead and Sea Turtle) has a kitchenette and a private bathroom en suite. Each suite sleeps 2 or reserve both suites for 4 people. Green Turtle II is a 45 foot motor yacht which sleeps 2 - 6 people. She has 2 private queen staterooms with bathroom and shower in each stateroom, a full sleeper sofa in the living area, a galley and dinette and a great aft deck with comfortable outdoor furniture. Green Turtle III is a 43 foot motor yacht which sleeps 2-4 in 2 queen staterooms with bathroom and shower in each, a salon (living area) galley and dinette and an aft deck with comfortable outdoor furniture. Your suite/yacht is stocked with gourmet coffee, teas, juice yogurt, granola, spring water and snacks. We deliver fresh breakfast each morning. We offer complimentary parking. Staying aboard the Green Turtle Floating Bed and Breakfast is a unique way to visit Boston. All boats are docked in marina slips and are moored permanently during your stay.
