I have stayed here for years, 8 to be exact ,as I travel to Boston from Maine one week a month for work. Over the years I have pretty much stayed in most of the rooms, and am here now as I write. This place is so unique all the rooms are different, and all have there own charm, its in... more

We stayed at 463 Beacon Guest house for 4 nights in October. After reading the reviews i had mixed feeling, i booked the hotel anyway, as it was alot cheaper than others in the area. For the money i paid i got what i expected, the hotel is close to attractions, restaurants and shops, its also on about $20 taxi... more

Fascinated by the vastly differing accounts - had to see for myself. Tried to book over the internet but they ignored all correspondence. The place is not good. If you get a cheap rate then it's about OK but that's about it; about average hostel standard. Climbing stairs with a heavy suitcase is probably good exercise! Not sure whether the... more

I found this place while looking for a Bed & Breakfast in Boston. Well, it is definitely not that. If you find links to it from B&B websites, please report it as incorrect. There is no breakfast, only 1 pot of coffee per day. While the location was fine for what we went to Boston for - a Red Sox... more

We are a budget establishment and offer the lowest prices in Boston’s Back Bay, but we certainly make every effort to provide a clean and comfortable environment. Unfortunately there are times some things ‘slip by’, and for that we apologize. However, our staff is available to correct any faults during our guests’ stays – we hire the best help we...

Two couples stayed at this guest house for a very moderate rate. We had rooms next door to each other on the 5th floor of this lovely place on a quiet residential street. Close to local (Back Bay) happenings and a short walk to the T station gets you around the entire city. We were lucky to get a guest... more

We rent 2 rooms in July. The guest house is nice, very close to Newbury Street, no elevators but we found one room with dirty and used bedlinen. Because the service during the night (10 p.m.) is very poor we had many problems to obtain clean linen. So, if you would stay at 463 check the room before paying! more

After reading all of the reviews the room was exactly as I expected it would be. I loved it! It was nice to get away from your basic hotel room. We arrived a day early but they could put us up in a small room with a double bed. We took that for the night and the next night we... more

Just spent two nights in this cute little guest house. You really get a feel for what it must be like to live here. Very close to Newbury Steet and handy for the Hynes Convention Centre T stop. Unfortunately there are no elevators so avoid large awkward suitcases unlike me. The staff are very friendly and coffee is available all... more

If you want to imagine yourself living as a local in Boston, this is the place to do it. BSGH is located on a quiet residential street in a beautiful old brownstone building. Rooms were comfortable, and the building definitely has charm. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. We never had any problems or issues in our 4 day... more

We stayed at this Guest House for 3 nights. The room we had was nice and quite large and had its own bathroom. The kitchen and bathroom need a bit of an update, but they do the job and they're clean. It was also handy to have a fridge. The guest house is conveniently located in a nice street in... more
