We just got married June, 26th and spent the first three nights of our honeymoon here in Boston before making our way up to Maine. Over all we loved our experience here. We loved the hot tub on the roof, which was practically all ours because nobody ever used it and we loved the breakfast in the morning. It was... More

Excellent location and beautifully renovated property. We appreciated all the work that was put into a remarkable renovation and decoration of a gem of a property. Stephen explained some of the process to us and we really enjoyed his hospitality. Gabby gave us some great advice on our trip. She helped us out with so many details. Extremely clean rooms... More

This beautiful boutique hotel is like a home away from home: situated in a residential neighborhood, beautifully decorated, cozy rooms, awesome roof deck with hot tub and rooftop view. Breakfast is served at a communal table where you get to meet the other guests as well as chat with the owner and staff. The location is excellent, right next to... More

Several years ago -- we were lucky to find this inn --- and if ever Boston would stay here again. The decor is lovely and the owners are fabulous. Be mindful -- there are no elevators so if you stay in a higher room -- you will have more stairs to climb -- but keep in mind it is a... More

Nestled in a charming neighbourhood brimming with all manner of eateries, galleries and shops, Clarendon Square is a fabulous urban inn. The boutique brownstone's enviable location in the emerging South End yet proximity to central Boston initially caught my eye, with the discount for over 5 night stay's stoking my interest, but it was the warmth and hospitality I found... Arriving on a snowy evening after a long 10-hour drive, my teenaged daughter and I entered the inn and felt immediately relaxed and comfortable. Our room was beautiful, although having to walk up a few flights of curvy stairs was a little tiring. Parking is tight, and we had to park at a public lot several blocks away ($77 for... More

We had a second visit the other week and enjoyed our stay just as much as the first time. The rooms are simply wonderful -- cozy and comfortable. And the breakfast is consistently excellent with options to suit most everyone--I favor the homemade oatmeal and fresh fruit. We were celebrating birthdays and invited our son and two others back to... More

My husband and I arrived on one of the coldest days in Boston. Steven, the innkeeper, graciously took care of our luggage, and offered hot beverages, while we warmed our stocking clad feet on heated floors. Yes, we removed our gritty wet boots! After chatting, while thawing our bodies, we arrived in a beautifully appointed room with a spacious seating... More

Beautiful rooms and congenial hosts in Boston's south side. Enjoy the bespoke experience - architecture, decor, fabrics, rooftop terrace and quiet - in this lovely neighbourhood. I want to start planning my return before I've left. Such a lucky find!

Ok… background… I am a tough critic of hotels. I started my career working at the famous Ritz-Carleton Boston when it was till family owned. So lets just say I have a critical eye… Friday night was cold and clear in Boston. Very Very cold. Given the recent massive amounts of snow I was concerned in finding a place to... More
