Clarendon Square Inn is situated in a quiet street in the middle of the Historic District with easy walking access to main attractions in Boston. The Inn is beautifully decorated and because of the few rooms and thus guests, it has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The two rooms we rented were very inviting and spacious. The staff were very... more

I've had the opportunity to stay in many B&B's for both business and pleasure. Without a doubt, the Clarendon Square Inn is the best by far! The rooms are better than either the Ritz or Four Seasons in Boston and the staff is terrific. They are very helpful with everthing from directions to places to eat. It is a first... more

We arrived at the Clarendon Square Inn having had a long journey via New York from Ireland. Feeling exausted, cold and tired, we where greeted by the most wonderful warm and elegant surroundings. This was added to by the courtesy call we had received earlier from a charming manager, who made sure we where happy with directions & all arrival... more

After staying Downtown in a bigger hotel before heading off to the White Mountains for a week, we decided a change was required to somewhere that was friendlier, and in a better location, upon returning to Boston. Whilst it was a stroke of luck finding it, we found the Clarendon Square Inn to be perfect. It's an immaculate, small, friendly... more

The owner and staff were really friendly. Some hotels cost as much or more and really don't have the personal touches and luxury of this fine B&B. I prefer B&Bs because I see more value in staying in a place with fewer guests and a place where you can interact with the proprietors and guests. I find hotels are a... more

Beer and wine was available for purchase, that was great. If you have any difficulty climbing stairs, ask for the lowest level available. Karen (manager)--excellent service in every way. more

We stayed at the Clarendon Square Inn while in Boston getting married. We had originally requested one of the regular rooms, but because we were only planning to stay for two nights, we didn't meet the minimum stay required for those rooms. Instead, we rented the suite for those two nights, which didn't have the minimum requirement. The suite was... more

We needed a place to stay in Boston for our wedding and we chose Clarendon Sq Inn because of the reviews. My partner loves sitting in a hot tub and so I called to make sure that it is open during our stay. The owner said it would be and actually even put us in a room just below the... more

We stayed here for 4 nights altogether and found the service excellence. We felt that every effort was made to make our stay there as enjoyable as possible and also to facilitate our overall enjoyment of visiting Boston. The bedrooms, all of which are styled differently, are very comfortable and ensure a lovely retreat after a busy day sightseeing. There... more

Located in the South End this hotel was more like staying in a really gorgeous family home. Grand piano, paintings and books in living room, help yourself to pastries, eggs and ham etc at breakfast from very stylish family kitchen. South End is great for restaurants. We liked B&Q Oysters, Metropolis and the Beehive for jazz and dining. To top... more
