We were in town for two days. By chance we found the Clarendon. What a lucky find. Our stay was fantastic. A staff that was friendly and attentive. Our room was very comfortable. I wasn't in a hurry to leave but Boston was waiting to be explored. We'll be back.

I stayed at the Inn for only 2 nights since I was on a business trip, but I wish I could have stayed much longer. The place is beautiful, super clean, and walking distance to the Prudential Center and some of Boston´s best restaurants. "A" for location, service, historic building, and comfort.

We stood overnight in Boston as well as Downtown and South End. We prefered South End. More quiet, a lot of nice restaurants and pubs around the corner. The Claredon Square Inn is not a cheap accomondation, in comparison to some 4star hotels in Boston it is even quite more expensive. The expectations were high. The Inn itself was beautiful... More

We stayed four nights and could not have been more pleased with every aspect of visit at Clarendon Square Inn. Regardless what one of the posting indicated about the staff being rude. They could not have been more gracious on open to serve our needs. Will book again with our next visit to Boston. GMC - Ohio

Paid nearly $400... Was told to go "up the stairs" to the room with my name on the door. ...and 5 flights of stairs later, I found my room. I am still out of breath, shlepping my luggage all the way up! Yes, it is beautiful, yes it is nicely appointed... But would I haul my luggage up 5 floors... More

We were interested in staying in or near the Back Bay area but it was hard to find an affordable room, I found Clarendon Square Inn on Tripadvisor and booked the Interior Room for the next night. As the name suggests there is no windows, but I found that to be a small sacrifice for the location of the B&B... More

We have 3 nights at Clarendon Square Inn in August 2014. This is a wonderful guest house, beautifully restored and designed. The staff are friendly and helpful and our bed was extremely comfortable. There's a hot tub on the roof which, although needing a clean, was hot and relaxing whilst we enjoyed the views across the Boston suburbs. The local... More

My husband and I stayed there one weeknight. The staff was actively helpful; they recommended restaurants based on what we said, and tried to make reservations, but the restaurant was full. From the fresh ladyfingers and hibiscus tea (both delicious), to the location (close to restaurants museum and park) to the personnel, the breakfast, conversation, amenities, it was perfect. Even... I've stayed here for several times now and was always happy to book again. It's just like, or even better than, the pictures on their website. It's a grand house with a homely feel to it. There's no elevator but even with my super heavy luggage they helped get everything upstairs with a smile. We enjoyed having breakfast on the... More

We arrived very late following a flight from the UK and then the the immigration process. We knew that there would be no one to greet us as there is no one on duty after 6pm. There was no note indicating where our room was (we found the "post it" note on the bedroom door). It would also have been... More
