Beer and wine was available for purchase, that was great. If you have any difficulty climbing stairs, ask for the lowest level available. Karen (manager)--excellent service in every way. more

I booked the Clarendon Suite which was the most perfect of rooms with one minor exception - if you stay in the room during the day for any reason there is a 'utility cupboard' that backs onto the room. From this cupboard you can hear what sounded like a washing machine or washing dryer working during the day. The service... more

We moved into the suite at Claredon Square and we never wanted to leave. Staying at this wonderful B&B gave so much value added to our business/vacation trip to Boston that our total visit moved into the realm of "best trip ever"! The manager, Karen, was delightful and helpful and totally professional. Breakfast times were very flexible due to the... more

My fifth or sixth stay here for an annual event in Boston's South End. Elegant surroundings and well appointed rooms that are kept looking fresh, even pristine, year after year. Welcoming owner and staff, but don't come here looking for Ma and Pa Kettle. more

We absolutely adore Clarendon Square and it has become our favorite place to stay when we come to Boston. Not only does one feel like one is in ones own house but it also has excellent service that is very personal. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and cosy with every little detail carefully thought through. Finally there is the area... more

I was in the Clarendon for 9 nights. I was very happy there. It was like living at home, I was leaving early so Jeffrey and Karen showed me how to serve myself an early breakfast in the kitchen. It is a wonderful brownstone house with a luxurious interior. They are very kind and with great eye for details. Rooms... more

My fiance and I stayed in the Hollywood room for one night. The staff were very helpful. We left early in the morning and were invited to help ourselves to breakfast items before we went. We also enjoyed hanging out in the rooftop hot tub overlooking the city. What a fabulous way to wind down. more

In summary - a wonderful place to stay if you're traveling for pleasure or on business. Absolutely fabulous residential street, great neighborhood with shops, casual bars, and great restaurants. Convenient to T stops and the aiport. Great people and service. The interior is beautiful and I loved the double-headed shower! I was in a jam during a business trip after... more

As a business traveler what do you need? High speed internet access, a TV to zone out to, great location to transportation and restaurants, ... Your only option is to stay at a hotel, right? Wrong! During my visit to Boston for the OnDemand Conference I hung my hat at the Clarendon Square Inn. I had a wonderful time there... more

I stayed at the Clarendon for an all-too-brief visit to Boston. The Clarendon Square Inn is a charming and accommodating inn. The proprietors are kind, business-like, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast they serve is very tasteful. Great coffee, delicious breakfast breads, plenty of goreous fresh fruit, meats and cheese. Just excellent. I partiuclary enjoyed the single large table around... more
