We have 3 nights at Clarendon Square Inn in August 2014. This is a wonderful guest house, beautifully restored and designed. The staff are friendly and helpful and our bed was extremely comfortable. There's a hot tub on the roof which, although needing a clean, was hot and relaxing whilst we enjoyed the views across the Boston suburbs. The local... More

My husband and I stayed there one weeknight. The staff was actively helpful; they recommended restaurants based on what we said, and tried to make reservations, but the restaurant was full. From the fresh ladyfingers and hibiscus tea (both delicious), to the location (close to restaurants museum and park) to the personnel, the breakfast, conversation, amenities, it was perfect. Even... I've stayed here for several times now and was always happy to book again. It's just like, or even better than, the pictures on their website. It's a grand house with a homely feel to it. There's no elevator but even with my super heavy luggage they helped get everything upstairs with a smile. We enjoyed having breakfast on the... More

We arrived very late following a flight from the UK and then the the immigration process. We knew that there would be no one to greet us as there is no one on duty after 6pm. There was no note indicating where our room was (we found the "post it" note on the bedroom door). It would also have been... More

I surprised my husband for his 40th birthday with a trip to Boston. The Clarendon Square Inn is one of the nicest B & B's we have ever stayed in. The decor is modern and clean, the staff was helpful at recommending things to do and places to go and the rooftop view was an added bonus! (Free Wifi, included... More

Dear Renee Thank you so much for the kind words and acknowledgement of our hard work. Our number one priority is guest satisfaction and we are all thrilled you have such confidence in what we do. Thank you also for noticing all the little details throughout the property, including the # of stairs.... it is a labor of love and... More

Very nice place and close to some great restaurants. Laura and Jasmine were both very helpful. Breakfast choices were healthy and excellent. The only downside was we couldn't find our room initially as the doors (at least not the basement room) didn't have a number. Even with that little hiccup, the place still deserved a 5!

This is a nice B&B with nice design on the whole, the rooms are big and the beds are amazingly comfortable (One of the best I have ever slept in) the Wifi is fast and the TV has a good choice of channels. The Breakfast was also good. My only criticism would be that I found the room warm the... More

Dear Elliotbows, We are happy you enjoyed our comfortable beds and breakfast. After an amazing sleep experience, certainly strong and professional WiFi is next on the list of priorities. As you have found, ours it top notch. Indeed, we are fortunate to have large guest rooms in our historic townhouse. Alas, we have the best AC system available for placement... More

My husband and I spent a long weekend at the Clarendon Square Inn, and we would definitely recommend and return! Our room was larger and much nicer than we expected. We had a "garden view" room, in the basement directly below the kitchen. You can hear the people upstairs at breakfast, but honestly it did not wake us and just... More

If you want to feel like you live in the South End of Boston stay at Clarendon Square Inn. Everything about it is charming, including the attending hosts Laura and Stephen. Their recommendations for restaurants were perfect. The South End has a lot of great choices too within walking distance. I loved my room (#2) and the feel of the... More

Everything from the greeting (yay Laura!) to the rooms to the breakfast to the sumptuous and elegant lounge shouts class. Every detail has been thought of (apart from the downstairs loo which could do with an air freshener). Nothing is too much trouble. The location in the South End of Boston is perfect for a selection of boutique shops and... More
