Overall the hostel was good. Good location very near the subway ( one week pass only $15), big kitchen area for cooking and eating. Free breakfast, always free warm showers. Nice stay, this hostel is clean. You have the breakfast included which is great, not a lot of choice but I didn't expect more for the price... The rooms are clean but small. I have recently returned from 4 nights in Boston and stayed at this hostel with a group of friends. The staff were friendly enough and its is located near to a subway station and pubs etc, however the good points stop there. I have stayed in the dorm rooms here twice in the last 5 months, and would recommend it particularly for solo travelers who are in boston for a few days and just need a place to rest their head at night. This is the only hostel I have stayed at in the US, so I don't have much to compare... more

I stayed for 5 nights. The hostel is close to subway station. There are shops, pubs, cheap eats in the neighborhood, and a 24-hr grocery store around the corner. Very convenient. Safe to walk around at night. Locker in the bedroom, comfortable bed, lots of individual shower rooms/toilets on the floor. No need to wait in lines for shower! Breakfast... more

Although i spent more staying here than any other hostel through out America, this hostel was great. Walking distance to Fenway Baseball Park, to Restuants and pubs and to the T train system. H.I in my opinion have a great name in terms of cleanliness and employees, so on my return to Boston in the near future I'll be back... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid-September. As far as hostels go, this one was okay - it was clean, quiet and in a good location. We stayed in a private room which had two single beds and a shelf. It did have an air con unit but it was the loudest I have ever heard... more
