Luckily, my parents and I still have another night here, because I just don't want I leave this place. The location simply can't be beat and the old word charm of the lobby takes you back to another time. But what really sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail. We got homemade peanut butter cup cookies upon checking... More

Took advantage of a last minute deal that revealed where you would stay after you paid. Boy did we luck out with the Lenox. Excellent location (Back Bay), in the middle of everything, one block away from Newbury Street. Everything at this boutique hotel was fabulous. We were off to a great start with the stuffed animal lobsters the kids... More

We recently spent three nights at the Lenox. We had a first class experience from arrival to check-out! All staff were excellent; very smart, professional and helpful. We really appreciated the upgrade to a corner fireplace room, which was lovely - extremely spacious, huge comfy king size bed with high quality linen, large screen TV. Effective and quiet air conditioning... More

Splendidly courteous, attentive like no other. Lovely property, in the middle of everything. Most highly recommended. European influenced restaurants and pub. Nothing bad to say. Do not hesitate to stay here if you appreciate a grand old hotel with panache and personal attention.

When we arrived to our surprise it had a lovely historic feel , lovely lobby and great staff. The reception was amazing. We were 4, 2adults n 2kids, rooms were big ,nice... More

I am not sure if the Boston Lenox is indeed the first boutique hotel, but they do a nice job of living up to expectations. From the doorman (pure Boston) to valet to front desk to turndown staff to porter, the service is authentic friendly, not ostentatious, and helpful. Our room was very well apportioned and even though it was... More

What is to say that already has not been said about The Lenox. A fine alternative to the chain hotels. Colourfully decorated and loads of history to boot. The location is great, not in busy downtown but conveniently centrally located to many shops, restaurants and bars. The staff were superb and the room was well equipped and comfy. The breakfast... I recently spent 4 nights at the elegant, classy Lenox. The location is ideal - many restaurants, shops and attractions are within easy walking distance. Everyone on staff is professional and helpful, especially concierge Nate, who went out of his way to help me plan my trip, both before and during my stay. Nearby Sorellina restaurant is outstanding! I will... More

The staff were friendly and helpful to a fault, and the hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Back Bay. The décor is mostly fittingly historic, even if that means quite a lot of browns and greys for some tastes, and the breakfast was excellent, if not cheap. We prefer hotels with a difference but in this case there... More
