Came for business & needed to stay for weekend. In midst of snowstom, hotel was warm & charming in every aspect. Staff was excellent, in particular Nick T. who took care to simplify room change & have everything ready on arrival. Wifi was high-speed, free & worked brilliantly. Bravo to the team

Myself, my wife and 21 year old daughter stayed at the Lennon between 20-24th December. We booked the Lenox based on its location and a recommendation from a friend who had stayed there previously. From the moment we pulled up outside the Lenox to the moment we left, the staff were fantastic. We had a twin room on the 4th... More

Fantastic location. Beautiful property - very well maintained. Staff was wonderful - especially Nate the concierge. Very comfortable rooms. Nice having a fridge in the room but no in room coffee/tea. It's available in the lobby. Large closets but small bathrooms. Very quiet.

Stayed three nights meeting up with my brother and my colleague and mixing mostly business with a bit of pleasure. Very comfortable, well appointed rooms, comfortable bed, great shower, nice complimentary toiletries. Staff were friendly helpful and knowledgable about things to do locally. All in all couldn't find any faults.

We stayed here just one night when we were in Boston for a Bruins game we arrived at noon time and are room was ready. It was great to get early check. The room was lovely. The service was exceptional. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and drinks in the bar. We enjoyed both. We would definitely return

My wife and I planned a Saturday night getaway in Boston. We found the Lenox Hotel on the TripAdvisor site and knew it was near many sites we wanted to visit. We booked a Saturday night through TripAdvisor and we're not disappointed. Our room was neat and clean with a view of the Marathon finish lone. The staff couldn't have... More

A large group of former co-workers were having a reunion at Sola's last Friday night and given how far I now live from Boston, I decided to treat myself and spend that night at the Lenox. Working full time and driving 120 miles round trip was taking a toll on me not to mention an active 4 year old. I'm... More

Stayed at the Lenox for a vacation. The reason staying in this hotel is mostly for location. Subway is nearby, food and shops are plenty. The hotel is clean but old property so that you could feel the ambience is 'different'. Not going to stay in the hotel if I travel alone. The reception is very friendly, staff is helpful.... More

Although I've stayed at other very nice hotels in Boston, after staying at the Lenox I know that I will always try to stay there during any future trips to Boston. The rooms are "traditionally elegant" and superbly clean. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the sheets so crisp! I truly felt like I was a welcome guest and that... More

I stayed in January of 2016 for 3 nights on business while at a conference in the area. The hotel is a unique property with a beautiful lobby. I came back from dinner to find the maid had laid out a robe and provided turn down service for the evening, it was a nice surprise! Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
