On arrival we were greeted by name and personally escorted to our rooms which were simply the best we have ever encountered. Rooms were spacious, well appointed and in impeccable decorative order. We could not get over how great the staff were there, always greeting us by name and it seemed that nothing was ever too much trouble for them.... more

When we first walked into the hotel, we were greeted by the staff and felt very welcome. Although, our room type was booked by Amex, we were not sure if we were upgraded and the hotel was very generous in granting our room upgrade even when we were told the room is not upgradable. The facility is excellent with great... more

Once we arrived, we were greeted by 4 different individuals from the time we stepped out of the cab until we got to the front desk, as one would expect at a 5 star hotel. Congratulations were offered at check in as I noted it was our honeymoon when making the reservation. I wish I had asked for an upgrade... more

My husband & I traveled last minute from California with our six month old for a family funeral in New Hampshire. We required specific amenities in our room to meet the needs of our baby, which included a crib, and all our needs were meet with great care, promptness and courtesy. Johann and his staff were so attentive to even... more

My wife and I love the MO group, so we took the opportunity to check out their new Boston property on a recent trip to Boston for her birthday. The hotel is in a great location, right next to all the shopping on Newbury, Boylston, and the Prudential center, in addition there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.... more

Very cordial reception upon arriving at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was ready upon arrival. Excellent amenities and very comfortable and quiet room. Lunch and breakfast in their main dining room called Asana were both fantastic. Afternoon cocktails and nibbles at MO (the bar) were terrific. Several spa treatments pretty much brought our stress levels down... more

What a GREAT hotel. I have stayed in many hotels but this was a 5 star experience. I was very impressed from beginning to end. As I made my through the hotel, the hallways, the common areas, I kept noting how clean, and quiet the hotel was. The room was large, CLEAN and quiet. Great bathroom, great shower (how rare... more

My husband and I checked into the Mandarin with our 4-month old infant for two nights during Thanksgiving weekend to be close to family staying nearby. We live in the area, so we are very familiar with Boston and all of the high-end accommodations here. Overall, I was very impressed. First of all, the hotel is really beautiful. Design-wise, it... more
