Boston is expensive, but this hotel delivers on comfort, cleanliness and value. The front desk staff was very accommodating and recommended great restaurants in the neighbourhood. I only give it a 4 because my room was a bit noisy at times, but otherwise, this place is a true find.

The good: We chose this hotel for its price. It's one of the more affordable hotels in Boston. It is also in a great location, everywhere on the tourist agenda is reachable by walking 30 minutes or less. You will be fine if all you want to do is use this hotel as a place to sleep. Breakfast was served... More

A friend who works nearby recommended this inn as a great place to stay. Close to all the fun stuff in Boston-- 20 minute walk from Haymarket, Fanueil Hall, North End. Our king suite was spacious, bed comfy and quiet even though it's located on a busy street. You do hear the ambulance sirens as Mass General is just around... More

On arrival at the Logan Airport, we took the free silver line bus to south station, followed by free subway ride on the red line to the Charles/MGH stop. The red line is very convenient for getting to MIT or Harvard or to Downtown Crossing stop where there are Macy and lots of other shops. Within walking distance from Macy... More

Loved everything about this place! It is located within walking distance to most things that we wanted to visit. The front desk was very helpful, answering every question we had. The hotel offers tea, coffee and pastries in the lobby to start your day. The rooms are on the small side, but have updated baths. I wouldn't hesitate to stay... More

We found this searching for a place to stay near/in Boston that didn't require giving up our first born child which we don't have. The house is situated right near the red line, not even a 3 minute walk. We arrived before we could check in, but they have a room to hold luggage before/after your stay. Once we checked... More

We loved this hotel. If you love older quaint hotels, this is a great place in a great location, right near mass transit. People were great and the lobby was so cozy. Clean and comfortable rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at the John Jeffries House. Great location to all major sites, including the T train station just a stone's throw away. Lovely facility. Very helpful staff. Quiet. Breakfast is very basic with apples and bananas (that stay out all day), breads, muffins, croissants, pastries, juices, coffee and tea. I bought Greek yogurt from a convenient... More

Stayed here for three nights around time of grandson's graduation from Harvard. Great location, many shops and restaurants nearby, good location to use trains or cabs. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Good value for our money.
