Based on their website and various reviews we went here expecting to be glad we did. I was very disappointed for these reasons: 1) Cost. Though they are touted as one of the "most affordable" places to stay, what isn't made readily apparent is that they have no parking, and guests here must pay the "discounted" rate of $27 to... Room was old. The bed was tiny for 2 people which made for a restless night. Continental breakfast was very poor and not very nutritious. A good central location , the room needed up dating , we were generally disappointed on our stay there.

This clearly isn't a luxury hotel, so don't expect that. It is however great value, and if you are using your hotel as a base to basically just sleep in then you won't really go wrong here. It is one of the cheaper options in Boston and is in a great location - the Charles/MGH T is opposite the front... More

Wonderfully friendly, hospitable, helpful staff at this clean, comfortable and convenient B&B. Stayed in quiet, roomy, twin bed room on ground floor with 21 year old grandson. Enjoyed walking safe neighborhood of Beacon Hill and Charles River Esplanade across the street. Enjoyed relaxing in large, comfortable lounge area of common room. Fruit and pastries until 11:00. Coffee replenished all day.... More

I had high hopes for this property, but was sadly disappointed during my stay. The good - great location close to the metro, fantastic rate. The bad - we are a family of 4 but only 3 people could sleep in the largest suite. Despite what we were told when we made the reservation, the sleeper sofa is a single... More

Location: This place is located right across the street from a red line subway stop, which turned out to be a nice surprise. CVS is also across the street which without fail we always seem to need a pharmacy/convenience store nearby. Lots of tourist attractions nearby and if not just jump on the subway. Clean: seriously clean place. Housekeeping does... More

Location was great. Close to the hop on hop off buses. Near the Common and walked to many more places. Loved it. Found out as we were leaving there is a side entrance with no stairs to go in. Didn't know that when we arrived and lugged all of our heavy suitcases up the two separate set of stairs. Would... More

Boston is expensive, but this hotel delivers on comfort, cleanliness and value. The front desk staff was very accommodating and recommended great restaurants in the neighbourhood. I only give it a 4 because my room was a bit noisy at times, but otherwise, this place is a true find.

The good: We chose this hotel for its price. It's one of the more affordable hotels in Boston. It is also in a great location, everywhere on the tourist agenda is reachable by walking 30 minutes or less. You will be fine if all you want to do is use this hotel as a place to sleep. Breakfast was served... More

A friend who works nearby recommended this inn as a great place to stay. Close to all the fun stuff in Boston-- 20 minute walk from Haymarket, Fanueil Hall, North End. Our king suite was spacious, bed comfy and quiet even though it's located on a busy street. You do hear the ambulance sirens as Mass General is just around... More
