Great service, beautiful room and clean. Superb breakfast, yes it is just pastry and fruit but if you want more go buy. It was nice having coffee all day and fruit if you wanted and the choice of pastry and rolls was outstanding.. Loved having a frig for drinks. A bit noisy with the sirens but it is the city... More

We stayed 5 days in room 106 with separate twin beds, living area with sofa and table with two chairs and clean bathroom and kitchenette. Everything was clean. If you want your room refreshed each day, put the card with the green side out on the door handle. We had pads on the beds and slept well. This was the... More

We stayed 5 days in August and really loved this historical hotel. The staff provided immediately at any request and was helpful with information. We appreciated a large suite with useful kitchenette, a very confortable sofa, a spacious double-bed room. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The House is a real jewel, located al the beginning of the historical sites, as... More

Attending family wedding and wanted close to historical area without breaking the bank. The location was perfect. The rooms, service, and cleanliness were more than acceptable. The rooms were large and well appointed. It met all our needs and was a bargain compared to others in the locale. Walkable to the historic areas and waterfront markets/activities, just up a couple... sept 1 - just got back from the trip This place is definitely underrated. It is at a GREAT LOCATION. has such NICE STAFF and the room itself was BEAUTIFUL. It is rather old, but it gives off a Victorian feel. If this is not your style, you may consider looking somewhere else. The walls are thin so you may... More

Stayed here on a business trip. Room was spacious with small kitchenette which included a small stove and oven, frig and stocked with dishes, pans, silverware. The living room suite was nice and comfortable and the bedroom was big. Close to the boston public transportation rail system. Affordable and a simple breakfast

We stayed as the John Jeffries House three times this summer, while I was having my eyes treated by a doctor at Massechusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary across the street. We stayed in three different types of rooms - a senior suite, a junior suite, and a regular room. All were very nice. The hotel is a very good value... More

Situated at the corner of Charles and Chestnut Streets in the Beacon Hill neighborhood this delightful venue is close to everything. The T (and Mass General) are across the street. Check out the Liberty Hotel, a former jail turned swanky hotel, next to Mass General. The architecture is astounding with remnants of the old jail preserved for posterity. Boston Commons,... More

We stayed for 3 nights with our 18 year old daughter in a deluxe room. It was perfect. We all slept well, even our daughter on the pull out (she said it was fine). So easy to get to from the airport - and free. Having a separate room gave everyone a little bit of privacy and comfort. We walked... More
