I agree with other travelers. Although the lobby appears impressive, my room was very small and bathroom was outdated. The door to the room look like the entrance to a refrigerator or casket. I checked out one day early because I was claustrophobic. Hotel staff was adequate. Would not recommend this to a friend even though it is very convenient... more

Was slightly apprehensive about the Park Plaza, particularly as my stay there was to celebrate my honeymoon with my new wife, however, I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. The building itself is very grand as is the decor in the lobby. It has an excellent postion, within walking distance of many of Boston's attractions. It also helps that its only... more

Stayed at this hotel for a business/leisure trip. advantages: once I got perspective, realized how great the location was. unless you have health conditions, within walking distance to the freedom trail, boston commons/park, newberry st. (incredible shopping), trinity church, copley square (incredible shopping again), public library, the prudential center (incredible skywalk, lots of restaurants/shops) and more. hotel rooms had a... more

The room was tiny and the staff was rude. I had to wait until almost 5 pm to check in because they were overbooked. I had over $100 in charges on my bill for room service I never got, movies I never ordered, and calls I never made. They told me when I checked out that apparently that same bill... more

Possibly one of the worst Starwood properties I've ever stayed in. While the lobby is convincing enough that this is a worthy hotel, immediately upon entering my room, I realized that this hotel was completely overrated. I'm usually pretty laid back about this sort of thing, but I'm pretty sure my first apartment in Chicago, after I graduated from college,... more

The first impression of this hotel was excellent, the lobby is spacious and everything is very well maintained. Unfortunately there are a couple of things that we found very problematic. First of all, the rooms are tiny, especially since we were traveling with a 1y old baby, there simply wasn't enough room for us. I am fairly sure the room... more

After reading the reviews, we were expecting a somewhat small and dowdy room, however, ours was extremely clean, updated and well-maintained. On check-in, we asked for a room with a view and were told they really don't have rooms with views, but advised us that the corner rooms are quite light and roomy. That may have been the secret as... more

Having read the earlier reviews I was dreading our stay, but was very pleasantly surprised. Great location, very close to all the major sites and Arlington "T" station. We didn't eat in the hotel, choosing instead to get lighter bites for breakfast and evening meals from the local Bon au Pain, which offers pastries, tasty soups and light snacks at... more

We were big fans of the Park Plaza. The location couldn't be beat. The internet in our room didn't work, so they upgraded us to an amazing suite. Two bathrooms for just two of us - fab!! The foyer is beautiful and the rooms were large. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat. more
