We spent one night at the Marriott Long Wharf and I must say it is ideally situated. We went from the airport with a free shuttle bus (#22) to the blue line (equivalent to the metro system here) . For a little more than 2 dollars we took the blue line (direction Bowdoin) and got off 2 stop later at... More

Yes, have to admit my hubby and I are fans of the Marriott hotels and make every effort to stay in one of them if possible where ever we go. This hotel is located in the heart of Boston...within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants and close to the airport. We took a regular taxi from the airport but... More

I got a $599 room for $150 on Priceline, so I was very pleased. The hotel has always caught my eye. I live in Central MA, so I don't have many occasions to stay in Boston, but I did last night. This hotel couldn't have been nicer. I was given a fantastic room, on the Concierge Level (probably due to... More

Attended a wedding (beautiful)! Great food, great music, WAY OVERPRICED BAR! My husband and I were flying out of Logan in the AM, so this was perfect for our plans! I love being in Boston and I enjoyed staying at this Marriott property; would definitely seek it out again. Pricey? yes, hey, it's Boston. Worth it? Yes. If you are... More

We didn't want to stay there but unfortunately the Fairmont hadn't respected our confirmed reservation and sent us to this place. Nice location, interesting architecture from outside. But inside it's all the typical superficiality and mediocrity of a North American Marriott. You arrive at 11.30 p.m. and You hurry to get a beer in the bar which is cosy like... More

We would give this hotel FIVE STARS PLUS, except for one thing -- they have ruined the experience of being able to enjoy the delights of the seventh floor concierge level as a Marriott elite member without hordes of people who are either paying a little extra for the privilege or who are being let in by family and friends... This hotel sits on the harbor. Stunning view specially from the top floor lounge they give their club level guests. Nice amenities in the lounge. The rooms are small and comfortable. The staff is somewhat helpful. Great location to walk a lot if historical place and to little Italy to eat.

Typical Marriott rooms...nice. VERY good service. SUPER convenient to North End and Freedom Trail. Club/Concierge level had very nice presentations...think there were 3-4x day. Breakfast very good. Lobster Rolls not so good!

Nice hotel with a great location; I realize it's downtown Boston and location is everything, but paying $571/night for a standard double room just has no value for this Marriott. No free Wifi in the room, no coffee setup in the morning (you have to go downstairs to the Starbucks and buy your own); seems like it caters to business... More

Very friendly staff, and excellent location close to North End, harbor and city center. Rooms etc were as to be expected of a big US chain. Nice breakfast buffet too, and did I mention the friendly staff :-)

Dera ChrBrd – Thank you for the very good review. 2 mentions in one review regarding the staff being friendly tells me we are working hard and succeeding in creating relationships with our guests. This in turn helps to produce memorable experiences for our guest and that is why we are in business. Hope to welcome you back soon. More
