Location can't be beat if you like to dine and shop! The bed and pillows were my favorite part...so comfy and clean. We had an OK stay here...I was in Boston for a baptism and most of my family stayed at this hotel. The first night, my in-laws said that the hotel had given their room away, and were awoken... More

This hotel is in the perfect location for both work and play. There is a big 24 hours supermarket just across the road from the hotel. Service staff are all extremely helpful.

Biggest negative was the elevators -- you had to wait forever to get to your room because they were so poorly controlled and slow. There were two banks that served upto the 27th floor and a four elevator bank to serve the upper floors. The controller for the elevators was clearly not working as it took an extremely long time... This was a great hotel with friendly, accommodating staff. We stayed for three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was wonderful. The gym and pool are probably the nicest I have seen in a hotel. The location was great. You have skywalks to the Prudential shopping center and the hotel is attached to fine boutique shops. Two tube stations are... More

I don't think this hotel meets the stars it claims or basically delivers as promised. Its in the centre and thats about it. I stayed on 30th floor and all three nights there was some whirring noises on the floor above. The bathrooms were poorly equipped and anything requested came in a quantity of 1. I mean the hotel charges... More

With a son living in South End and his office in the John Hancock, the location of this Marriott was perfect for us. Since the valet parking is expensive, we used the T or walked, waiting to rent a car on the day we left Boston. I won't repeat the excellent reviews below, but do want to give a shout-out... More

We checked into this hotel for a 4 night stay to see Boston and go to TD Garden to see the Boston Bruins Hockey... Upon checking in to the hotel we were told most services were closed for the day due to the holiday which was fine since we were tired. Then we had been told there was a 99Percent... More

I can’t believe people have an issue with this hotel!! We came from New York staying in really nice hotels and this eclipsed them all. The public areas are great with plenty of food and drink options, it’s attached to two malls and a Shaw’s supermarket. It’s in back bay which is a fantastic area to be in, make sure... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with our choice. The hotel was centrally located and connected to the shopping malls without need to go outside. Rooms were huge, were clean and very comfortable. Staff were very attentive and you never had to wait to be assisted, there were a lot of staff there to help, whatever... More

Overall, this is a solid property. I wouldn't say it stood out in my mind as exceptional, but it was clean, comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. Convention traffic tended to cause the elevators to get very backed up, but that's normal. The bathroom was a bit small, but since it was just me, no big deal. I found it... More
